P.O.V. of Kyle
"Guys we should move to L.A." Toni suggests.
"Yeah." Oliver and Galina say together then smile at each other.
I shrug as they look at me for a opinion and walk to my bed. Truth is, I've been trying to get this gig in L.A. for awhile and I was kinda hoping this gig would end in L.A. I admired L.A. a lot, I grew up there, and Clemine lives there. It was where we first met, where it all happened. L.A. is my life. I started to organize my bunk and my stuff in my suitcase, then my phone buzzes. I jump over to it, hoping it was Clemine, but it was just a Twitter notification. I sighed and Tweet;
Guys! We're coming to Nevada! Get ready Vegas!
I post it and immediately I got retweets and likes. I threw my phone on my bed and just laid next to it. Thinking of Clemine, as I always spend my time doing. She was always away, but finally, after this long week, she will be here for a least a long time to hopefully, start a life. Maybe a family. Spencer? Is it a good name for a boy? Well, I like Calix, too. What if I have a girl? Juliet? Naw, too cliché. Rosie? I made a list of names on my phone, so I won't forget.
"Guys, we're taking a stop!" Gus the driver called out. We stopped at a small gas station, near Nevada, but not close. I jump out first and let the sand crunch under my feet. I stretch and crack all available knuckles and bones. Galina twist her face in disgust.
"What?" I turn towards her.
"That's gross." She crosses her arms.
"Get over it Princess." I step closer to her and crack my neck. She moves away.
"Whatever Drama King." She rolled her eyes, bitchy much?
"Why are you being so rude? This is my band and my body."
"Well, I'm on here, too, I think I should have a say in some things, too."
"No one is asking for your opinion."
"No one asked you to take authority."
"Look here, Russian Mafia, calm down, don't get on my bad side, you're lucky my brother likes you."
She raises her lip and furrows her eyebrows. "Asshole." She murmured.
"Bitch." I mumbled back. She stepped on my foot as she walked by me. Is there something about L.A. girls that make you go insane? Where the fuck is Oliver? He walks out and smiles at me. "Hey Oli." I wrap my arm around his shoulder.
"Hey Ky. What's up?"
"How are things with you and Galina?"
"Pretty good." He smiled. "Why?"
"No reason. Do you like her personality?"
"...yes. What's your angle?"
"No angle, just asking." I pat his shoulder and push pass Galina. I take out my phone and it starts ringing, Clemine. I smiled. I take it out and walk a little further from the group. "Hi, Honey Bear." I grin.
"Hi Cupcake!" She says, excited. God I miss the way she smiles.
"How are you? I haven't heard from you all week." I bounce on the balls of my feet.
"I'm good, sorry the meetings are insane. I get back to my hotel at like 11, then I crash, and the signal is horrible over here." She sighed.
"Aww. It's okay, I forgive you. What time do you have to wake up?"
"Maybe like 4 or 5. I don't even know."
"At least you're getting a somewhat good sleep."
"Yeah, but I miss my Cupcake." She cooed.
