"BOY." The man's scream ran through the house.

The boy rolled his eyes and walked out of his room and into the office, where his step-father was smoking a cigar. "Yes sir?" He stood politely in the door frame.

"Close the door and sit." He did as he was told.

"What is the problem sir?"

"I don't want any retards living in my house." He threw papers at the boy. The boy did not flinch.

"What do you even so mean sir?" The boy said sarcastically.

The man grabbed the boy's jaw and face it towards him. "Don't mock me boy." He let go and paced around the boy. "What the fuck is this? A goddamn 93?! An A- boy? This better be a mistake."

"No sir. That was all my blood and sweat. If you can see, it says my name." The man slapped the boy.

"Get this through your fucking mind. This is the 3th A-." He took the cigar out of his mouth and pressed it under his jaw. The boy clenched his jaw and fist and pushed the man off. "Next time, it's longer. Now leave, you ass." He waved Oliver out and typed on his computer.

I woke up panting and sweaty. I rubbed my neck and still felt the curled flesh on my neck and rubbed it. I was in the bus again. I looked at my phone and there was a text. Galina.

Good morning, Oli. :) The bridge @ 4

I smiled.

"Oli. Who are you texting?" Kyle peered out from the blankets.

"None of your business." I hissed and went back to sleep. I heard Kyle shift in his compartment, footsteps, then a thud on my bed. "Ugh Kyle. Go to your bed." I turned away from him.

"You never talk to me. You always keep things from me. From us. Have you met someone?" He rested his chin on my shoulder. "Huh?"

"Kinda." I keep my eyes close. Hoping he would leave.

"I'm not leaving 'til you tell me hows she in bed." He chuckled. I shrugged him off.

"Shut the fuck up. She's not like that." I smiled then quickly resumed my slumber.

"Dude, I was just kidding. Tell me about her. Real talk.... Like we use to." He laid there. Not moving. "Come on O."

"Fine. I met her at a cafe and we kinda just connected when she took my order. She's Russian. The most amazing green eyes I've ever seen and she's different from every girl I dated. Annd she doesn't know I'm a professional rock star." I shut my eyes. Ready for him to judge me.

"That's really cool bro. I'm glad you found someone that you actually have feelings for."

"I don't have feelings for her."

"Is that not clear to you?! You're obviously in love with her. And it seems that you would be better off keeping the rock star a secretly."

"....really?" He surprised me. I've never heard him be real like this, not since high school. When he was sober most of his days and was the guy who was considerate of girls and their bodies. When he would go out of his way to tell a girl she was beautiful. Now. He changed. "Uhm, thanks."

"Look I know things are hard between all of us, but we gotta stick through it. As a team... a band." He rubbed my shoulder. "Go get her." Then he fell asleep. He was still a little drunk, but at least he wasn't being a total butt.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Eh?" I woke up. A little confused. I was in the bus. Asleep. Next to... Kyle... Why....What time is it? Was I--"Shit!" I scrambled to get my clothes on. I checked the time. 3:57. Damn Damn Damn. I threw on a clean shirt, grabbed my phone and ran out the door. Leaving the band to sleep it off. I ran to the trolley stop, waited, then headed to the bridge. I saw a figure taking pictures and another sitting on the floor... Who is it? "Galina!" I yelled out. The photographer looked, then waved me over.

"I thought you were going to be later." She smiled. So confident in me.

"You didn't think I was gonna skip out on you?"

"I did. But you wouldn't wanna forget your book, would you?" She smiled and handed the book to me.

"I totally forgot that yesterday. Thank you so much." I leaned to kiss her cheek. Luckily she blushed. "When did you get here?"

"Couple minutes ago, haha. It's barely 4:10. I brought my camera. I thought when I give you a tour, you can take a picture with me, everywhere we go." She smiled and stretched out her hand. I took it and we walked everywhere. She showed me everything about L.A. that no one knew.

We sat under a tree, it was like 6. I laid my head on her lap as she lightly drag her fingers across my head. I stared at her eyes as she stared at the sky. I reached up and took her hand and rubbed it. She looked down at me and smiled. "Do you know that band... Uhm... Stretching The Sky?"

"Yeah." I smiled, that was my band's name.

"I hate them."

"What? Why?" I was startled a bit.

"They just seem douche-y. I don't mean to be all mean bout they seem so up tight."

"Well some of them aren't that bad."

"Really? I don't see it. Do you know them?"

"Psht, no. But my friend's friend's friend's friend's knows one of them. They aren't that bad."

"Ok... I'm sorry that made you so... weird..." She looked away in disgust and took back her hand.

"I'm sorry... It's just-" I choked. I couldn't what would she think of me? I know she would think I would leave her. I wouldn't. Now that I know she hates my band... I couldn't, I paniced. Looking at her face trying to find a lie I could tell her. Her eyes made me burn for her trust. "I love your eyes." I rubbed her cheek. She blushed, took my hand, and kissed it. I didn't realize what time it was, being with her made me lose my sense.

"Oh shit, look at the time. It's like 8. I gotta get back to my cat." She pushed me off and stood up.

"Ow..." I said, dramatically.

"Haha, sorry." She helped me up. For a brief moment our eyes stopped at each other. A few minutes I find myself stroking her cheek. She blushed, but didn't turn away. She leaned closer to me. I've kissed many girls, but she made the butterflies become bigger. I moved my fingers down to her neck and pulled her in. Her scent swirled into my nose and the butterflies became faster and louder.
