P.O.V of Clemine

I sat, confused on what was happening. "Are you drunk?" I say, pushing him off and my neck felt weird. No one really has "sucked" my neck, only Kyle. But Kyle doesn't necessarily "suck" it's more of a long lingering kiss - My clothes slowly start to rise a little by little of my body. "Thomas!" I kick his stomach and crawl back.

"What?" He held his stomach, wincing.

"You're-! You-! You know-! I'm ENGAGED!" I got up and fix my clothes. "I love Kyle, you know that. I'm not your girlfriend anymore." I say, closing my eyes, trying to get it out of my mind. Yes he was amazing, kind, caring, always there, but he just was too clingy, and he was my best friend. Dating your best friend is not the way to go. But fortunately we stay good friends... Well, at least I thought.

"But... I thought we had something. You don't remember what we had? It was great. Kyle is a douche that is never around and is a bad boy! I'm a good boy, I'm the one you should end up with, not him. Bad guys break your heart, I wouldn't. I love you, Clemine, I do, it breaks me to see you with him and not me." He preached on his knees, using his hands. I stood, not able to move, I just stood there with my hand on my heart. It raced uncontrollably.

"Thomas, you don't know anything about him. Get out." I point at the door, he looked at me, in pain. "Please leave. And I know you're drunk and you will forget about this in the morning." He's done this many occasions. He sighed, picked himself. "Why did you even come in here?" I remembered that he interrupted my lovely conversation with Kyle.

"I was going to ask you to dinner, but I guess not." He stood in the door frame.

"Well..." I looked at my watch, about 7:30. "I'm kinda hungry." He grinned. "Just don't be weird, and don't do what you did about 2 minutes ago, okay?"

He nodded. "Sorry, you know I get all weird when I'm a little drunk."

"Why are you drunk anyways?" I grabbed my purse and coat as he walked me out the door.

"The bosses took me out and they wanted me get drinks and we just discussed plans for the rest of the time here. Then I meet this girl, I guess she was rich because she kept buying me drinks, then I got hungry and come to you." He shrugged, he was a little off his balance as we walked down the hall to the elevators.

"You have the craziest times, you know that? Only you." He laughed and rested his arm on my shoulder, finally it was back to somewhat normal. It felt good being able to talk to him without him getting all emotional and I love you and yada yada. He was honestly a good friend.

We arrive to some restaurant that we decided sound good and cheap. It was some Chinese food place. We sat down at the table and talked about his night with the bosses. "You know boss's wife is some whore right? She literally sleeps with all his co-workers and brothers." He laughs. "Sign me up."

"Eww, you know her vag had more experience than you, right?" I swirled my noodles.

"Then I don't see anything going wrong, she knows what she's doing." He winked.

"You are, disgusting." I laugh.

We finished and get to the car. "Shit. I can't drive." Thomas leaned against the passenger side. He thought it would be a good idea if we went to a club and get even more drunk. Like I wasn't already having a hard time being here. Somehow the party just never stops for this guy, does it?

"I can't either!" I laugh a little, clutching the keys in my hand. "And this is a company car..."

"Well.... I honestly think you're more sober than me." He pointed at me and slipped into the car. I sighed and got in.

"I don't know, I've never drove while I was drunk. Kyle always drove, or we took a cab."

"Loosen up." He yawned.

"I am, I just... It's a bad idea."

"Clemine, it's like... 1, we need to get back to the hotel."

I sighed. "Okay. I guess you're right."  I push the key and start the engine. I nervously breathed in and out. I pull out and head towards the hotel. I think I was going pretty good, at least there wasn't as many cars on the road, so it was kinda safe. Thomas was totally passed out, he snored and drooled, draping his hand out the window. I laughed a little as I looked at him. In my mirror red and blue lights trailed right behind me. Oh shit. I pulled over nervously and waited for him to walk up to my door. He tapped on my glass and peered at me. "Hello Officer, problem?" I rolled down the window, smiling at him.

"Did ya' know you were lights were out?" He pointed to my front lights.

"Oh, stupid me, so sorry." I flicked the lights on and smiled at him. "Is that all?"

"Ya' know you were swerving as well?" He tapped his shoes on the pavement.

"I was? I'm sorry, my friend almost choked," I pointed at Thomas who made saliva bubbles. "I needed to make sure he was alright."

"Can you please walk on this line for me?" He moved back for me to open my door.

"Of course." I looked over at Thomas who was still sleeping, then got out and stood on the line. "How do you do this? I've never took a drunk test before." I've always watched Kyle do this. He was a master and never got in trouble.

"Ya' just walk on this straight line and just keep walking until I say stop." He gestured at the line.

"Oh, okay." Okay, you've seen Kyle and other people do this, they just slowly put their foot in front of another, that's all you do. Come Clemine. I put my arms on ether side on me to balance me, and slowly put my foot in front of the other. I think I was doing it right, but it seemed to curve, I follow the curve.

"Stop." He said and grabbed my arm. "I think you need to come with me." I realized I wasn't even close to the line.
