21--

We all we quiet that night. I walked to my room, thinking of a bunch of questions. The band is going to fall apart. What are we going to do? I walked into my room and see Galina packing. She looked me then quickly turned back. "I'm leaving." She said, grabbing her stuff.

"Why?" I said, calmly, leaning against the door frame.

"I think we both know. I need time to myself." She sniveled.

"What about your ex?"

She hesitated. "I don't know."

I walk slowly to her and place my hands on her waist. "Don't tell me we're going to break up..." I whisper into her neck, taking small breaths.

She paused. "I don't know." My lungs stopped giving me air. "I have to think about it."

"Are you at least sorry?" I take my hands off and walk around to the bed to face her.

"I am..."

"Then stay." I stop her from putting sweater in a bag by placing my hands on her arm.

"I don't want to get in your way." She still didn't look at me.

"You're not going to. I wanted you to come so you can see us play." I rub her arm.

"Maybe next time." She let her eyes wonder to my face. "I'm not ready for this."

"I understand." I let go, trying get my body working again. She looked up at me and threw her arms around me neck. I wrapped my arms around her body. I get it. She's not ready yet, we did just start dating, and just got in a argument about this. I felt her tears soak into my shirt. She pulls back and looks at me with her shimmering eyes. I rub a tear off her cheek and smile at her. "Let me call you a cab."

"Okay." She smiled as I took her bag and went to the front door.

"Leaving?" Kyle walked out, chewing a pear.

"Galina is." I say, turning to her.

"Oh, bye Galina." He waved and continued walking to the other room.

"Bye." She growled. We walk out, waiting for the cab I just called. We sit on the steps that lead up to his house. I wrap my arm around her. "When do you think you'll get back?"

"I don't know, I'll tell you when."

It was a long silence. "Am I horrible for leaving?" She finally says.

"No no, I totally understand." I rub her shoulder. "I do."

She sighed and leaned into me. "Call me everyday." She whispered, gripping my jacket.

"Of course, if you don't answer I'll text you." I lean my head on hers.

"Yeah." She dug her head deeper into my chest. "I'm so tired." I checked my watch. 11.

"Do you want to take a plane instead?"

"I don't know if I can afford it."

"Babe, I'm a rock star. I got it."

She laughed a little. "I guess." I go in the bus and take out a wad of cash that we keep just in case credit doesn't come through and took some extra cash from my wallet. We adjust back into our positions again and hand her the cash. "What the fuck? This is a lot." It was like 2000. No biggie.

"Just hide the rest." I grin at her. She stared at it.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I don't know how much a plane ticket is, but also for the cabs."
