P.O.V. of Roger
I woke up on the couch, and beer cans covered my body. I check the cans if there was any left by holding them over my mouth and shaking it. Nothing, drank it all last night, or whenever. I groan as I get to my feet. I slowly move my feet through the bottles and cans towards my phone. Nothing new, the same old, ‘where are you?’ or ‘where’d Roger go?’ from friends, family, and fans. I checked the text that Kyle sent out to all of us, informing us about the meeting in a few days. Why is he always fucking in charge? He’s such a loser. I open the fridge and I’m completely out of beer. I slam the door shut with a groan in frustration. I walk over to the hotel phone and call the service desk.
“Hello, how can I help you?” She asked, sweetly, yet a little tired.
“I need beer.”
“What room are you sir?”
“Suite 132.” I say. Everyone moved out and went to get houses or something, but I don’t know how to even get started with the whole house thing.
“Sir… Your date has expired a couple of days ago…”
“So?! Just add more days.”
“Sir, we have a no longer than a 2 months policy and your just a little over the date -“
“What did I say?! Add more days.”
“Sir I’m going to have to ask you to -“
“I don’t need beer anyways.” And hung up. “Fucking hotel service.” I mumble and flip on the TV. A couple minutes later there was a knock on my door. “What?” I yell.
“Sir.” The lady from the phone called out. “We need to talk to you.”
“I don’t need any beer.” I call out.
“Please open the door or come outside or we will be forced to open the door ourselves.” A manly man’s voice said.
“Oh, you got friends?” I smirked. Flipping to another channel.
“Sir. Please open the door or come outside or we will be forced to open the door ourselves.” He repeated.
“Please open the door or come outside or we will be forced to open the door ourselves.” I mimicked his voice.
“Sir. You have 5 seconds to make a decision.” Honestly I didn’t want them in my room at all. “5.” But I don’t want to get up. “4.” Isn’t it illegal to barge in someone’s room? “3.” I groan. “2.” I got up and walked slowly to the door. “1.” Just as he was about to open the door I opened it. “That wasn’t so hard was it?” He smirks.
I roll my eyes. “What do you want?” The lady stared at me. I turned to her. “What?” I snapped.
“Are you Roger?” She asked in awe.
“Yeah, that’s my name. Don’t wear it out.” I smirked at my joke. Classic comedian.
“But your in Stretching the Sky, aren’t you?”
“Yeah, whatever. What do you want?” The lady went quiet after that.
“We want you to leave. I’m sure Jackie here has reminded you about the no longer than 2 months policy?”
“So?”
“If it wasn’t clear, sir, you need to get out.” He crossed his arms. He looked pass my shoulder and his face scrunched into a disgusted look then looked back at me. I blocked the background by stepping out more and closing the door.
