32--

P.O.V. of Kyle

“Morning beautiful.” I whisper as I wake up to her on me.

“Morning Cupcake.” She giggles as I brush her messy hair back in place. “How was your sleep?”

“Great, yours?” I smile as she outlines my chest with her fingers.

“Good.” She sighed. “We were suppose to be staying with my mother tonight, but…” She laid her back on my peck.

“Don’t stress about it, now she knows. That’s what you wanted from the start, right?”

“Yeah, but I didn’t know she would take it like that. It just bums me out that she reacted like that, I’ve been thinking about it all night, was it my fault?”

“No, it’s not, she just needs it to settle in. Maybe when she goes to our wedding, she’ll see how great we are. And how much I love you, and do anything for you.” I felt her grin, urging me to continue. I stared out the window, imagining it. “Maybe even adopt kids one day, I don’t know. Name then Sheldon and Madison, and watch them grow up. You helping Madison with her heartbreaks, as I play catch with Sheldon in the backyard. And if we have kids, were going to have to move. We don’t have a backyard. Then have a dog running around as we sit as a family and grill in the backyard. Oh! And you could start a garden, like you’ve always wanted.” I stop, realizing that I was talking for a while. I look at her and see her looking at me. Smiling. “What?”

“You’re so cute.” She says, resting her chin on me.

I blush. “Whatever. Want to go to a small diner, I thought I saw one around here when we were driving.”

“Sure.” She smiles. She gets up then plops back down, taking me by surprise.

“What?”

“I don’t have any clothes on….” She says, embarrassed.

“You act like I’ve haven’t seen you naked before.”

“I don’t know where it is…” She looks around, covering herself much as possible.

“It’s going to be in the car.”

“Kyle, where are they?”

“I don’t know!”

“Help me find them!” We looked everywhere and eventually find them thrown out the window. She sits in the front seat as her clothes are covered in grass as I laugh at her. “Can’t believe you threw my clothes out the window last night.” She crossed her arms, glaring out the window.

“Oh come on, it’s not a big deal. Don’t you have clothes in the back?” I suppress a laugh.

“Whatever. Look theres a diner right there.” She points to a diner on the right. I pull to the parking lot and we get inside. I laugh a little as she runs to the bathroom.

“Hi sir, what can I get you?” The girl at the breakfast bar asks.

I walk over to her. “Table for 2?”

“Over here.” She guides me to a table at the window. “You look awfully familiar…” She rubs her chin.

“I’m in the band Stretching the Sky.” I smile grabbing a menu.

“Kyle, right?”

“Yeah.” I look at her. She looks familiar, too, but I don’t know why.

“I can’t put my finger on it…” She thinks. “Anyways, I’m Lucile, can I get you anything?”
