Zack's POV:
Kenzie and I talked. She knew my secret and there wasn't anything I could do to fix it.
*time skip*
Music was blaring through my ears as me and some girl I met, Sophia, were dancing. We had both had a lot to drink, and weren't ourselves. She lured me off the dance floor and next thing I knew we were both in one of the bedrooms. The next morning I left early and didn't hear from Sophia until a week after.
She told me she was pregnant, and it was my kid.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said.
She was balling her eyes out and she said "I knew you didn't want to be a dad". Turns out Kenzie had been behind the school when we had been talking. Sophia left town and I pay child support to our little boy, Daniel. And the worst part is
I liked Brynn the whole time.
*back to present time*
Kenzie's POV
"Kenzie you know I can't be with her" he said.
I shook my head "it's about time you tell her the truth Zack" I said.
He puts his face in his hands and tears come out of his eyes.
"I can't do that to her, Brynn doesn't deserve to pay for the mistake I made" he said.
I hug him and we both just stay silent.
"I know you don't want to ruin everything, but she needs you" I speak up.
He nods and the second bell rings.
I wave goodbye and run to my class.
