Kenzie's POV My Dad and Maddie are coming over tomorrow tonight for dinner. I haven't seen them in forever, but I guess it's time we've reunited. My mom decided to fix her act so that my dad didn't see her as the mess she is. She still abuses me, but she wouldn't in front of them. Tomorrow night also happens to be the dance. Johnny asked me the other night with a poster that said "hoco?" and flowers, he was never the creative guy. Today Brynn and I decided to get our dresses, late I know, but oh well. As we walked into the stores Brynn and I immediately tried on dresses from left to right. I picked out a pink dress. It was a long sleeved cropped dress with lace. Kenzie's Dress

We bought our dresses and left. Johnny's POV Maddie invited me to dinner at her mother's house tomorrow. It's gonna be hard to do considering I'm going to homecoming with Mackenzie, but I'm gonna make it work. "See you tomorrow?" said Maddie. "Yeah" I said and she kissed my cheek and left. *time skip* The next day Brynn and I woke up very early to get our nails and hair done. Brynn's hair was in a type of bun (same one in the picture) and mine was wavy curls. We both got our nails done based by our dress color, and we did our own makeup. We both put on our heels, which are also the same color of our dresses, and we were done. Brynn and I gasped at our looks. we looked amazing. Then Brynn left my house because of the dinner. I walked downstairs and saw my mother setting up the seat placements. She glared at me and said "wait in your room you little brat." I walked back to my room, not arguing in fear of getting hit. Now I just wait until they get here. Maddie's POV: We just arrived at my mom's house. I invited Johnny to come considering I wanted him to meet my sister and her one day. We ring the door bell and my mother immediately comes and opens the door. She immediately embraces me into a big hug. "Mom this is my boyfriend Johnny" I said. She smiled and shook his hand "It's nice to meet you Ma'am" he said. "Oh please, call me Melissa" my mother said. Her and my father just waved and we all walked to the table. "Let me go get your sister" my mother said. Kenzie's POV My mother comes up and tells me it's time to come down. "Don't screw this up or you'll regret it" she says with a horrible tone. I nod quickly and start walking down the stairs with her. As we reach the corner...... Cliff Hanger :) Enjoy this chapter!!
