Chapter 19

Johnny's POV
I come to pick up Mackenzie for school. It's been 2 days since our kiss, and it's been great. Things are like how they were, except better. I know I've changed, and I hope Mackenzie knows too.
All of a sudden my car door opens and she jumps in.
"Hey" She said kissing my cheek.
"Hey boo" I smile and I start driving.
I grab her hand with my free hand and we stay like that for the drive.
We finally get to school and I park.
Hand in hand, we walk into school together.
We hear gasps all around, and I just smile, knowing I got the best girl.
The bell rings, indicating it's time to go.
"I love you" I say kissing her head.
"I love you too" she says walking away.
As soon as I walk into class, I see all my friends.
"We've been waiting" Zack says.
"For?" I reply confused.
"You, you and Kenzie are back together?" Hayden asks.
"I blush nodding.
"YEAHHH" they all yell jumping up.
They all pat me on the back as I make my way to my desk.
"So Hayden, you and Annie?" I whisper grinning.
He blushes a deep red and we all laugh.
"I haven't even asked her yet" he says.
"Come on dude, it's obvious she likes you" mark says.
"Ask her out bro" Carson says.
"Meet at my house today and we'll come up with a plan" I say.
They all nod as class starts.
*time skip*
Finally it's lunch. We all decide to go get lunch at panda.
Mackenzie and I in the front, Annie and Hayden in the back, and Lauren, Nadia, Carson, Zack, Brynn, and Mark in another car.
Mackenzie and I hold hands as I drive.
Her smiling and laughing as "I like it" by Cardi B blasts through the radio.
"I said I like it like that!" Annie and Kenzie sing as Hayden and I laugh.
Finally we arrive and go in to get a table. After placing our orders, we all talk about college.
"Johnny where are you going?" Annie asks.
"Actually I'm going to UCLA" I say smiling.
I turn to see Mackenzie in shock, her mouth wide open.
"You're coming with me?" She says smiling.
"Of course I am" I say as she pulls me into a big hug.
I kiss her forehead as the rest of the questions go on.
"Annie and I are going to USC, not far from you guys!" Hayden says.
"Mark and I are going to the U of A, but well visit I promise!" Nadia says.
"Lauren and I are going to UCLA too" Carson says.
"Zack and I are going to USC too" Brynn says smiling holding his hand.
"At least we'll all be close" I say.
We get our food and we all start eating.
I feed Mackenzie as she laughs.
God I love her laugh.
"I love you" I say.
"I love you too" she says as she kisses me.
My life is finally coming back together.
We all finish our food and go back to school.
I walk Mackenzie to her class and we say goodbye.
*time skip*
School ends and I drive home.
I wait for a little until the boys get here.
"Hey guys" I say letting them in.
We all go to my couch.
"Ok ideas go"I say.
"He could dress up in a tux with flowers" Mark suggests.
"Too much" I say.
"He could buy her a poster that says be my girlfriend" Carson says.
"Ehh no" I say.
"Ooh I have the perfect idea" Zack says as he says it to us.
We all nod grinning.
Now for the plan.

Zach- Hey do you guys wanna hang at Johnny's
Nadia- we're at Mackenzie's, but yeah sure we'll be there in 30.
We all nod and run around to get Hayden's idea things.
*time skip*
The doorbell rings as Mark opens it up and the girls pile in.
"Where's Hayden?" Nadia asks.
"Actually he has a surprise, come come" Carson says.
"Hey babe" I say grabbing Mackenzie's hand.
We all walk to the living room to see Hayden standing next to a box of pizza and the notebook.
"Hayden what is this?" Annie asks.
"Open it" he says.
She opens it to see pizza with pepperonis spelling out the words "be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" She says hugging him.
"YEAHHHHH" the boys and I yell.
Then it gets dark as we eat pizza and watch the notebook.
Everyone falls asleep so Mackenzie and I put blankets on everyone and go upstairs.
I go into my bathroom and change into sweatpants and no shirt.
I throw Mackenzie a huge shirt as she goes in to change.
Then we go to my bed and cuddle as I put High School Musical on my computer.
Her head falls on my chest as we fall asleep.
