Discoveries

In the morning I'm woken by Jade and Alice pouring freezing cold water on my face.

"Ugh cold!" I gasp and glare at the laughing 20yr olds.

"Why did you do that!" I wipe my face on the sheet and sit up.

"Coz it was fun, and you got an email from Marcus saying you have to be at school at eight this morning to meet him." Alice replies and I'm shocked.

"You looked at my emails!" Jade nods and laughs.

"Why you got personal stuff on there?" I shake my head but they give me a look.

"I only email Marcus,Jess and Liam so no there's nothing personal on there sorry to disappoint." Jade pulls a face and calls out as she shuts the door,

"It's half past seven by the way,I'd hurry if you want to meet your boyfriend!" I quickly jump out of bed and have the quickest shower in history and then pull on the first outfit I see: a white and blue striped t-shirt with a cropped red jacket and black jeans rolled up at the ankle to show off my black Vans. I then run a brush through my hair and run out to the kitchen to grab an up and go.

"See you baby!" Alice calls out and I wave goodbye before running out to my car just as I get a text so I quickly look at the screen and I groan with annoyance.

Hey bel don't wory abt cumin at 8 just cum at usual time:) Marcus.I pull the keys from the ignition and storm back through the door.

"Oh did you forget something baby?" Jade asks and I glare at her,they all call me that because I'm the youngest at the flat being only 19 while Jade and Alice are 20, George is 23 and Matt is 21.

"No I didn't forget anything!" I slam my door and sit down on my bed when my phone rings.

"Hello?" A male voice answers and I immediately recognise it.

"Hey Bell I'll pick you up at seven tonight yeah?" I frown,having no idea what he's talking about.

"No your not gonna be picking me up and what for Carl?" I hear laughing at the other end of the phone and I freeze at his next sentence.

"Ashton asked me to pick you up tonight since he can't." Ashton is this idiots friend?

"Um well I feel sick so I'm not going so you don't need to pick me up thanks anyway, bye." I end the call and then dial Ashton's number.

"Yep?" I smile at his accent but remember why I'm calling and I become serious.

"Ashton hi it's Bella, um I can't come tonight sorry I feel sick and I won't be able to make it." I wait for his reply and his voice sounds kind of disappointed and sad at the same time.

"Oh ok so I don't need to pick you up then?" I frown,confused and so I tell him I thought Carl was picking me up.

"Um no I don't have anything to do with that idiot and I never told him to get you." I realise what he was trying to do and I gulp.

"Uh yeah ok um look I'm not actually sick I just didn't want to be around him ya know?" I hear him say yes and I sigh in relief.

"Ok so I'll se ya at school?" He sounds nervous which is unusual so I tell him I will and then I hang up and check my twitter: +300 followers wow I guess when Liam Payne follows you so do the fans!

"Bella why aren't you leaving it's 8:15!" I close my laptop and grab it and my bag before running to the lounge.

"I got distracted,hey shouldn't you be at work Al?" She nods her head and I frown.

"So aren't you gonna go?" She shakes her head and I raise my eyebrows and run out the door.

"Have a good day then!" I shut the door and jump in my car to drive to school.

When I get there Marcus is waiting by the bike shed and I sigh to myself as I lock my car and wander over to him.

"Hey." He smiles and I look for Jess and the rest of our friends.

"They bunked." I look at Marcus and laugh.

"Your joking!" He looks serious and I roll my eyes.

"How much longer is she going to do this for,she'll get expelled soon!" Marcus flicks his hair from his eyes and looks me in the eye for the first time since he asked me to go to prom last year.

"I think she wants to bell." He speaks quietly but I can hear him loud and clear.

"What do you mean?" I frown,confused and Marcus bites his lip ring indicating he's nervous.

"She doesn't like school as you know but, don't get mad ok?" I nod wanting him to hurry up and tell me what it is.

"She's using you, she never liked you bell she was using you to get good enough grades by copying you. I was gonna tell you as soon as she told me but she said she'd tell you something bad about me or that I hated you so I shut up but don't tell her please." I slide down the concrete wall I'm leaning on so I'm sitting on the cold ground.

"But we were gonna go to London together and we made all these plans to do!" Marcus looks at me sadly and hugs me.

"I'm sorry bell, you've still got me-"

"Bella,hey!" Ashton comes running over and Marcus adds on,"and ash." I laugh and stand up.

"Hey sorry about last night um Carl rung and said you told him to pick me up so I said I was sick coz he's um-" I try to think of an appropriate word but Ashton helps.

"Jerk?" I nod and laugh.

Ding ding ding ding ding the first class bell rings and I pick up my bag and throw it over my shoulder.

"Right I need to get to class but I'll see you later Marcus!" I call over my shoulder at him while he walks to the other building and he waves so I walk with Ashton to our first class which is P.E

"Bell why are you coming into the boys changing room?" I snap out of my daydream about Liam payne and look up to see I'm still walking with Ashton.

"Oh sorry I zoned out a bit." He laughs his adorable laugh and I wander into the girls room and pull out my P.E uniform, a simple white T-shirt and blue short shorts, when I'm done I stuff my other clothes into my bag and go outside to the field where Ashton is standing in a grey T-shirt and black shorts.

Once our teacher tells us we're playing a game of football we get into teams and I'm on Ashton's.

"You good?" I frown and nod.

"Yeah I'm fine why?" For some reason he laughs and I frown again.

"I meant are you good at football!"I feel my face heating up and I look at my feet.

"Oh,kind of ish." He laughs again and as I smile he steps closer to me and brushes a piece of my blonde/brown hair behind my ear.

"You've got a nice smile." I blush and look down but Ashton tilts my head up so I'm looking into his eyes and then he does something unexpected, he leans in and kisses me.
