Letters to Liam- liam payne {Completed}

Timing

*Liam's POV**
Niall and I arrive in London in the early morning and decide to go around to Louis' house in the afternoon.
"So um how are you feeling now Li,we haven't really talked about you and Bella for a while." I shrug,I guess I knew he'd bring that up again at some point.
"There's nothing to say really,I stuffed up and she's probably moved on,for all I know she could be going out with Hazz or Lou." Niall frowns at me and sighs.
"Liam." He says in an unnervingly calm voice.
"Harry and Louis would never do that to you. And Bella still loves. You." He pointedly says you and I smile slightly as we arrive at Louis' house.
"I think we should go around the back door so he knows it's us." Niall says, we always go around the back door of each other's houses so they know it's us not a fan.
"Yep." I reply as we walk around the side of the house and come to the back door,then I freeze.
"Liam are you okay with-" Niall stops talking once he follows my gaze. Bella has her arms wrapped around Louis' torso and he is hugging her back tightly,untill he sees us looking.
"Liam I'm sure it's perfectly innocent-" I turn away and shake my head.
"What the fuck is Bella doing at Louis' house! Is this why you brought me over!?" I yell and Niall backs away.
"Liam no, I wanted to talk to Louis I had no idea she was here and for your information Bella can visit her friends you know and Louis is a friend." I roll my eyes even though Niall is probably right,there's nothing going on after all Bella loves Ashton.
"You can talk to Louis but I'm waiting in the car." I say as I walk towards the driveway where the car is.
"Liam, Nialler, good to see you!" Shit.
"Hi Louis um I just wanted to come and talk to you about that date." Niall says but I continue getting into the passenger seat.
"Liam um can I talk to you for a second mate?" I sigh and get out of the car to walk over to Louis.
"I want to explain what you just saw, Bella wanted a dress to borrow because she was going out with some friends who are girls so don't get your undies in a twist. Anyway Eleanor said she could use one of her dresses so I was helping her find a dress and then she found the perfect one and we hugged because she was happy and we had solved a problem I guess,there is absolutely nothing happening between us." I bite my lip and hug Louis, I believe him but it's hard not to assume things are happening with them.
"It's ok man I'm just acting weird lately." Louis nods and I turn around to see Niall glaring at him.
"I'll leave you two alone,can I get a drink Lou?" He nods and I make my way into the kitchen to find a glass.
I look in about three cupboards but the glasses are no where to be seen.
"Where the fuck does he put things?" I say to myself and I was not expecting to get an answer, especially from Bella.
"Drawer beside the sink." I freeze and once I've recovered from my shock I look where Bella said and sure enough I find them.
I should probably say thanks but I jut nod.
"It's um nice to see you again Liam." She says quietly, almost in a scared tone of voice and it breaks my heart but I simply nod again.
"How've you been?" She asks in the same nervous voice and it makes something inside me snap.
I run out of the room and into the spare bedroom fore collapsing on the bed and breaking down in tears.
She's afraid of me, the way she was talking so nervously and it's because she's afraid of me.
All I can imagine is her laughter and us having fun,but I'll never see that again because I've made her scared of even talking to me.
Fuck it I can't live like this,with the guilt I need to talk to her.
I pull myself off the bed and go into the bathroom to wash my face so my eyes don't look red and then I go back to the kitchen where the brunette is sitting on the bench top, when she sees me she bites her lip and puts on a small smile, which I return.
"Um so how are you?" I ask which makes Bella smile properly,it's unbelievable how just one sentence makes her happy.
"I've been okay, what about you?" She asks and I look away for a minute,but when I look up Bella has that same nervous look on her face from before,as if she's scared she asked the wrong thing, which shatters my heart.
"Same,um can I ask you something?" The smile reappears on Bella's face and I clear my throat.
"How come when you talk to me you look afraid and nervous." Bella stops swinging her legs,something which I learnt she does when she's content.
"I guess I haven't talked to you in ages,I mean you pretty much hate me and probably think I hate you too and I don't wanna say the wrong thing again." That's it,my heart cannot take this pain.
"Um so your basically well afraid of, of me." Bella frowns before jumping off the bench top and walking towards me.
"I'm afraid of hurting you."
