**Bella's POV**
As Liam pulls up outside the familiar big white house I lose it. The tears fall thick and fast as I remember the first time that Ashton took me here and how nice he was to me,and then I remember how I broke his heart and then he died a week later. Well done Bella,great relationship.
"Bella what do you mean?" I lookup and see the blurry outline of Liam and I frown.
"Huh?" I manage to say.
"Well you said 'well done Bella great relationship'?" My eyes clear slightly as I realise I said my thoughts aloud.
"D-Don't worry,just t-thinking." Liam puts an arm around my waist and walks with me to the front door.
"Are you ready for this?" I nod and take a deep breath. Surely I'm overreacting I mean I only knew him for a couple of weeks and Liam knew him for years,oh my god how must Liam feel?!
"Are you ready for this Li?" He looks down at me and squeezes my hand tightly.
"As log as your by my side I'm ready for anything." And then he knocks.
"Coming!" I hear an Australian accent that I recognise as Michael's and shortly after he opens the door and his smile drops.
"You heard the news?" Liam nods and steps inside leading me with him.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me!? I should've been one of the first to know,I've known him for almost as long as you guys and I had to find out by Bella's friend telling me!" Liam straight away snaps at Michael and I tug on his arm.
"Liam sit down,I'm sure there's a good reason." I say surprisingly calmly and Liam sits down on the couch.
"Liam,I wanted to tell I really did but the boys-well Luke thought it would be a good idea to wait a bit so we didn't interrupt the tour or anything-"
"We're finished touring and you knew that Luke!" Liam snaps back,I must admit he's pretty fast.
"Li I'm sorry but I just thought it would be better for-" Luke tries to speak but Liam cuts him off.
"For who? Me!? Coz it's not good for me at all!" Luke shakes his head.
"I meant for um Cal." He speaks quietly and as I look at Liam I notice the tears falling down his face,I reach up to wipe them away and he pulls me into a hug.
"Where is Calum?" I ask softly and Luke points to the hallway.
"In his room,he hasn't come out since the incident and he hasn't eaten either." I frown and stand up,still holding onto Liam's hand.
"Come on,I want to talk to him." I say and Liam nods.
"Okay babe."
"Guys no,when we've tried to talk to him it makes him push us further away-" Michael says.
"It's different Mikey,he knows me a bit better and he'd trust me with his life,I might be able to talk with him." Michael looks reluctant but nods.
"Ok if you really want to." We nod and walk along the small hallway and I knock on the door.
"Calum? It's uh it's Liam." Liam says to the door and nothing happens.
"You don't have to come out but can I come in please?" No reply. Liam tries the door handle but it's locked.
"Look mate I heard the news and I just want to talk to you Cal,please trust me." I wait and look at Liam.
"What if he won't come out?" I whisper.
"He will." Liam replies and then I hear footsteps from the other side of the door and a lock turns. Liam grins at me through his watery eyes and I kiss him.
"You always amaze me Payno." Liam opens the door and walks inside.
"Is it okay if Bella Smith comes in too,you know her she used to go out with Ash." Calum must've agreed because Liam beckons me into the room. It's really dark and smells like someone died-oh right maybe I shouldn't say that, but it's a horrid smell and there's clothes all over the floor,but the worst part is the broken boy sitting in the middle of the bed with tear stained cheeks and sweatpants and an old baggy shirt,he looks like he hasn't slept in days.
"Oh my god Calum,I'm so so sorry." Liam sits down beside the boy who just looks at me with tears spilling onto his cheeks.
"His last words were 'tell Bella I love her' and then boom he was gone." Calum says to me and tears threaten to spill from my already watery eyes.
"And the worst part was that I knew you didn't love him anymore did you?" This time the tears do roll down my cheeks and I look at Calum.
"I never stopped loving him."
