Room 109

**Liam's POV**

I slowly bring my hand up to knock on the hard wooden door and I hope that this is the room number I heard the girls talking about before. Moments after I knock I hear footsteps and Anya opens the door.

"Liam!" She looks surprised to see me but smiles at me.

"What are you doing here?" I smile back at the blonde girl and bite my lip.

"I was wondering if Bella was here?" I see her trying not to smile as she calls out to Bella.

"I'll leave you two for a minute,nice seeing you again Liam." I nod to Anya and she leaves Bella and me standing alone.

"So um what did want me for?" Bella asks and I look to the ground.

"Um well Louis and Eleanor are on a date and they asked me to come but I feel like I'm interrupting them and I was wondering if you wanted to go out for a meal with me,like a proper one not just tea." I see Bella's face light up but then she frowns.

"I would love to Liam but tomorrow I have to meet my pen pal guy and I need to study tonight because our teacher still makes us do school work even over here-"

"That's a better reason to come for dinner,to give yourself a break before tomorrow." I know I've slightly conviced Bella but she still looks unsure,

"Please? It would be fun I promise." Bella grins and nibbles her bottom lip.

"Give me ten minutes!" She runs back inside leaving me standing there smiling like an idiot.

**15 minutes later**

Bella still hasn't come out and I'm starting to wonder if she's stood me up but I don't think she's that type of girl. I also am surprised to find that Bella takes forever to get ready as well so it's not just Eleanor so maybe I should stop complaining to her about it,or maybe not.

"Liam hi sorry it took ages coz I couldn't find anything to wear and so I just wore this at the last minute and if know it's not the best-" I cut her off.

"You look great Bella now are you ready?" She takes a breath and nods as we walk down the corridor together and just as we get to the elevator the door pings open and we step inside.

"Oh my god it's Liam Payne!!!!" Bella jumps as we both turn to face a girl standing in the corner of the elevator who we hadn't seen before.

"Um hi love do ya want a picture?" I think her eyes are about to fall out of her as she nods and then hugs me and takes a selfie.

The elevator indicates it's on the bottom floor and I smile politely at the girl.

"Nice meeting you love." She just squeals as we walk away and Bella laughs.

"You handled that well." I shrug.

"I kind of have to or else they'll tweet about how mean Liam Payne is or they get upset coz they think I ignored them so I just deal with it,and I love meeting our fans even the crazy ones!" Bella laughs again and we walk out of the lobby and into the cold night air and I show Bella to my car.

"Hop in." I open her door and she curtsies making me laugh and I get into the drivers seat and start the engine.

"I don't mean to sound unimpressed or rude but I thought you'd have a um expensive really good car." I smirk at her remark.

"I know but it was my mums and she gave it to me so I kind of have to drive it but I'm trying to break it somehow so I can get a nice car!" Bella laughs and I notice that her smile and laugh is really cute.

"Where are we going Liam?" Bella asks but I just smile as we pull up into Harry's favourite restaurant that I think Bella will like.

"17 Black." Bella reads the sign and nods,

"Doesn't Harry have a tattoo of-" Bella's eyes widen and she quickly stops mid sentence as I smirk.

"Bit of a Directioner huh Bella?" She blushes bright red and I wrap my arm around her shoulder.

"I'm messing with you,don't worry I won't judge you and yes Harry does have a tattoo of 17 Black coz he loves this place and I thought you might like it too." She relaxes slightly and we get out of my cruddy car and walk into the restaurant,I dont bother trying to lock my car coz I know it won't work.

**40 minutes later**

"Oh my god no way!" Bella laughs as I tell her embarrassing stories about when I was a kid.

"Yes way." I laugh along with her as we tuck into our chocolate cake deserts.

"Okay there was this one time when I was moving house and my neighbour offered to help and-" I stop paying attention to what Bella is saying and instead I find myself thinking of how she makes me feel happy and like I can be myself around her.

"Liam?" I zone back in and cringe.

"Sorry I kind of zoned out,anyway do you want to go somewhere?" I say this just as waiter comes to take our empty plate.

"Oldest trick in the book mate." I go bright red and I'm pretty sure Bella does too.

"I'm not meaning it like that man I literally just want to go somewhere to get away from like all the paps and feel normal for a moment." The man who Harry unfortunately knows winks at me.

"Sure whatever you say man." I sigh and I go over to pay when the lady tells me someone has already paid.

"Who?" I never saw Bella pay so I'm confused now.

"Um Mr. Louis Tomlinson." My eyes widen and I look around,sure enough I see a booth with a guy holding a newspaper up to his face but I can recognise his voice anywhere, it's Louis.

I sigh and walk back to Bella who is already waiting at my cruddy car.

"It's unlocked,like it doesn't lock so it's always unlocked." Bella grins and we get in the car and just sit there,enjoying being in each others company.

"Why did you ask me to come out to dinner with you?" This question takes me by surprise and I feel heat go to my cheeks.

"Um I guess I just feel normal around you because you don't care that I'm famous and your fun to hang out with." For a moment Bella looks disappointed with my reply but then she smiles.

"I had fun tonight Liam it was nice to hang out with you." I nod and start the car and drive back to the hotel.

I walk Bella back to her hotel room in silence but when we get to her room she stops.

"Thank you for tonight Liam that's just what I needed I think." I smile at her and nod.

"Good." She smiles awkwardly and looks at her feet.

"Well bye then." She's about to her open her room door when I reach out and touch her arm.

"Wait you forgot something Bella." She frowns obviously trying to think what she forgot but before I can change my mind I pull her into my arms.

"You forgot to hug me." I feel her smile into my shoulder as she hugs me back.

"Thank you." I squeeze her hand before she let's go and disappears into room 109.
