I watch as Ansel walks out on the stage, and my heart was pounding.
I immediately realized why Ansel was acting suspicious about going to work, because this was the work he was talking about.
I had heard something about him mixing his own dance music before, but the thought didn't even cross my mind until his tall figure appeared on the stage.
Ansel walks up to the microphone, his eyes scanning the crowd as he speaks.
"Hey guys, thank you all so much for coming tonight! I hope you like my new song, Unite!" He says and flashes the crowd his gorgeous smile, causing all of the girls to scream even more.
He walked back behind where a bunch of music equipment was set up, clicked away on a MacBook for a few seconds, and then his song was playing.
It had a very good beat to it, and I found myself jumping around and dancing like all of the other people in the crowd.
Ansel's eyes were scanning the crowd, as if he was looking for someone. I couldn't help but hope he was searching for me, although he probably wasn't.
He was the most handsome man I had ever seen, he most likely has a girlfriend here back home that he's looking for.
I feel my heart pounding in my chest as his eyes work their way down my row, and come to a stop when they land on me.
*Ansel's POV*
I stood behind my laptop on the stage, watching everyone in the crowd dance to Unite.
I was so excited that everyone liked it, but I couldn't help but find myself searching for the girl I had met before the concert, Maddie.
The moment I found her dancing on this exact stage was when I knew there was something special about her, the way she danced.
I keep my smile on and bob my head to the music as my eyes scan the rows upon rows of people in the crowd, searching for her beautiful bright blue eyes.
It wasn't until I reached the first few rows that my eyes met hers, and my smile widened.
I saw her return my smile, and I could tell she was fighting the urge to dance. Although I remember she was most known for ballet like her mother, I've heard she would dance to upbeat songs like this.
She looked flawless even just swaying back and forth to the music, smiling up at me.
She wasn't like all of the other girls in the crowd, she didn't need to show skin or have her hair all done to look absolutely gorgeous.
I was so focused on Maddie that my song and the whole concert was over before I knew it.
The band led me off of the stage, and I turned to look at Maddie before she was completely out of my sight.
The band members were patting me on the back, congratulating me about all the good news from my new song.
I nodded at them, muttering a thank you, but I didn't care about what they were saying, the one thing on my mind was finding Maddie like I promised her I would after the concert.
As fast as I can manage, I exit the stage and take the back way to the dressing rooms to avoid being hounded by fans.
My eyes scan the labels on the dressing room doors, until they fall on one that reads "Ellie and Maddie Lawrence."
I stop at that door, but turn my head when I hear someone turning the corner towards the dressing rooms.
And I'm greeted by the one and only Madeline Lawrence's beautiful eyes.
