The moment I stepped into our apartment my aunt starts questioning me like crazy.
"How was it? Was he a gentleman? Did you have fun?" She asks quickly, before i can even shut the door.
I laugh at her and walk further into the apartment, setting my bag down on the kitchen table.
"It went well, he was a gentleman, and I did have fun" I say calmly, walking towards my room to try to avoid her curiosity.
My plan didn't work, because she followed me to my room and leaned against the doorframe.
"Could you see things getting serious with him?" She asks.
I sit on the edge of my bed, gazing over at my aunt who had a small smile on her face.
"It's not like that, Aunt Amy, we're just friends."

It was a week later when I heard from Ansel again. I hadn't danced in nearly a week and a half, and I wasn't planning on it anytime soon.
The next time Ansel contacted me was a Saturday night, but this time he called me.
I was in the middle of stretching, because if I did start dancing again I would need to improve my flexibility to where it was before.
My phone was next to me on the floor, and my eyes immediately turned to it when it started vibrating.
I quickly clicked the answer button and put the phone up to my ear when I saw it was Ansel.
"Hello?" I said, still sitting in my split that I was in before.
"Hello, Maddie. How are you?"
"I'm good, and you?"
"Better now that I'm talking to you. How would you like to come over to my apartment and hang out with me and Nat?" He asked, followed by telling me his address.
It took me a minute to realize that he was talking about Nat Wolf, the guy he became best friends with from The Fault In Our Stars.
"I'd love to, I'll be over in half an hour."
"Great, I'll see you then, Madeline." He said and I could picture the smile crossing his lips at his favorite name to call me.
I hung up with him and took a quick shower before changing into a big blue sweater with plain black leggings and my black converse.
I put my hair into a side braid and put light mascara on, grabbing a bag and my phone before meeting my aunt in the living room.
I didn't have a car of my own so my aunt usually drove me places, but I did have my license.
"Aunt Amy, can I please take the car to Ansel's?" I beg, sticking out my bottom lip in a pout.
She looks at me for a moment, weighing her options before she finally gives in, and let's me go.
I get down to the car and drive the short distance to Ansel's apartment, and when I get there, I get out of the car and make my way up to the apartment door.
I knock on the door, and a few seconds later the door opens and I'm greeted by Ansel's smiling face, and Nat peeking over his shoulder.
