-Maddie's POV-
As soon as I got home that night, my aunt had plenty of questions as to why I was out so late.
"We were just hanging out, Aunt Amy, he taught me how to play Call Of Duty." I say, already making my way to my bedroom.
I know she didn't think we did anything we shouldn't, but I didn't go out, basically ever, so she was curious.
"And did anything else happen?" She asked, leaning against the doorframe of my bedroom after I entered it.
"He asked me to be his girlfriend." I admit, which caused a wide smile to cross her lips.
"I told you he liked you as more than a friend. And what did you say?" She asks, watching my every move as I start to grab pajamas out of my closet.
"I said yes."
"Good. But still, be careful with him. He's famous, you don't know about those famous boys. This could just be an act."
Once I have pajamas, I toss them over to the bed and turn to look at her, shaking me head.
"Ansel's not like that."
"Well maybe if you quit hiding him from me and let me meet him, I can believe that!" She says with a laugh. "Invite him over for dinner tomorrow night, he can't avoid me forever."
"I'll ask him" I say with a laugh, and shoo her from my bedroom so I can change.
Once I'm done changing, I shut my light off and crawl into my bed, picking up my phone to send a text to Ansel. It read:
"Hey, my aunt wants to meet you, she claims your trying to hide from her. Our house for dinner tomorrow?"
Only a minute later, my phone buzzes and I see that he had texted back already. He said:
"Oh, I would never try to hide from your family, Madeline. I would love to come over for dinner tomorrow. See you at 12 for dance."
I smile and put my phone away, before laying on my back and eventually falling asleep.

I got up fairly early the next morning, and took a shower before getting dressed in my dance clothes.
I wore plain pink tights and a black leotard, and pulled my long brown hair back into a ballet bun.
I put light makeup on my eyes, only because Ansel would be the one taking me there. I made sure I had all of my dance stuff, including my pointe shoes in my dance bag.
I grabbed a necklace that was once my mothers, a locket that was shaped like a seashell, because she loved the beach.
It was handed down to me as soon as she died, and when you open it there was a picture of her on one side and my father on the other.
I decided I would wear this necklace every time I danced from now on, in honor of her. I hooked the necklace quickly around my neck before slipping a pair of spandex over my leotard for the ride there, and slipped on my converse before heading out to the living room.
I still hadn't told my aunt that I had danced before the concert the other day, so when she turned to look at me and saw me in my dance clothes, her jaw dropped.
"Y-you're finally dancing again?" She asked with a stutter, quickly standing from where she was on the couch.
I nod slightly, biting down on my bottom lip like I always did when I got nervous.
"Uh, yeah... I danced before the concert the other day too, I'm sorry I didn't tell you earl-" I start to say but in cut off when she takes a step closer to me, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug.
"I'm so proud of you, I know your mother would be too." She whispers, one hand wrapped around my torso and the other up stroking my hair.
I could feel tears brimming in my eyes, but I quickly blink them away, nodding my head.
"I know you don't want me to watch just yet, but you tell me when I can and I'll be there in a heartbeat" She starts, pulling back to look at me, placing a single kiss on my forehead, "Have fun."
She pulls back and wipes a few tears from her eyes and I smile slightly, but have to look away before I start crying as well.
"Ansel is taking me to the studio, I'll be back later today." I say quietly, and grab my bag before waving to her and walk towards the elevator of the apartment building to go to the lobby to wait for Ansel.
As soon as the elevator doors open, I'm greeted by a smiley Ansel leaning against the wall farthest from me.
I walk over to the wall to meet him, and he kisses my cheek quickly, then pulls away to look at me, eyebrows raised.
"You're late, Madeline." He says, already starting to walk towards the doors after taking my dance bag from me.
I glance down at my phone, and the time said 12:02. I shake my head, walking beside him at the same pace.
"By two minutes! And you know it's Maddie."
"But I like calling you Madeline... Or Mads, that's cute." He says with a cheeky smile, opening the passengers side door for me once we reach it.
I thank him before getting in the car, and take my bag from him, setting it on my lap before he walks over to the drivers side to get in.
The drive there is short, and it mainly consists of him asking me questions about when I used to go the studio.
Once we get there, he opens the door for me and I get out, walking with him up to the door.
Once I get inside, the receptionist, who actually used to be best friends with my mother, looks up at me with wide eyes, and actually drops the pen she was writing with.
"No way... You've finally came back?" She asked in disbelief, a wide smile pulling at her lips.
"Back and ready to work" I say with a smile, walking around her to one of the seats and sit down, already starting to put my pointe shoes on.
"And who is this gentlemen?" She asks with a smile, nodding towards Ansel.
"This is Ansel, my boyfriend." I say with a smile, it felt sort of strange to actually call him my boyfriend.
"Well it's a pleasure, to meet you, Ansel" She says
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Mrs. Smith" He says while holding his hand out to shake hers, reading her name off of the name tag on her shirt.
"Oh please, call me Kathy" She says with a smile, glancing over at me as I finished putting on my pointe shoes.
"Ms. Sarah is in the studio, just try not to give her a heart attack when you walk in" Kathy says, stifling a laugh.
"No promises" I say as I stand up, going up on my toes to balance to stretch out my feet.
I nod for Ansel to follow me to the studio, which was only a hallway away from the lobby.
The door was open only a crack so I open it all the way and stand in the doorway, leaning against the frame.
Sarah was in the middle of stretching by herself in the studio. She was facing away from me, and when she turned to face me her eyes went wide as she fell back into the ballet bars for balance.
"Madeline Lawrence... What are you doing here?" She asks with wide eyes, and looked as if she might pass out. Her eyes scanned my body that was dressed in dance attire, and she begins to smile.
"Back and ready to work, Sarah" I say with a smile, and nod for Ansel to stand outside by the window that looks into the dance studio as I walk in, standing in the studio my mother became a famous dancer in less than twenty years ago.
