When I turn to look at my aunt, her jaw was dropped and her book was on the floor of the car.
I laughed as she bent down to pick up the book, her eyes never leaving mine.
"Maddie, you talked to someone your age? A boy?" She asks, clearly shocked, especially at the second question.
I nod and buckle my seatbelt as she finally calms herself enough to start the car.
She turns her eyes to the road and starts driving, but continues to question me.
"What's his name? How did you meet? How old is he? Is he nice?" She asks frantically, quickly.
I chuckle and keep my eyes on hers as she drives away from the theatre.
"Calm down" I start, turning my eyes to look at the street ahead of us, "His name is Ansel, Ansel Elgort. He was a guest DJ at the concert, he's 20 years old and very nice."
She nods excitedly, a wide smile spreading across her lips as she speaks.
"That's great, Mads! He looks familiar, have I seen him before?"
"Yeah, he's an actor. He was in Carrie, Divergent, and he's going to be in The Fault In Our Stars."
She slams the breaks when she reaches a stop sign, causing the whole car to jolt.
"An actor!? Jeez, Maddie, you go from talking to no one to a celebrity in the matter of hours" She exclaims, slowly starting to drive again.
"You be careful around him, he may seem like a nice boy now but you never know how those celebrities truly are." She says again, her voice calmer this time.
"I know, I know" I say, looking out the window at the tall buildings of New York City.
I was debating whether or not I should tell her that I danced again today, but after the shocking news I just gave her, I decided it could wait.
We got back to the apartment and it was nearly 10 pm, so I went straight to my room and began to read for a while.
I was still in a daze from everything that happened today, from dancing again, feeling the rush on the stage, to meeting Ansel, who had seemed to have taken an interest in me.
My aunt came in to say goodnight at around 11, and that's when I decided I should go to bed as well.
I put my book away and changed into more comfortable clothes, before laying down and falling slowly to sleep.

The next day was Saturday, and I awoke slowly, rolling over to check my phone, seeing what time it was.
The bright screen caused me to squint my eyes, and I could finally read the print.
"9:53 am"
Once my eyes adjusted to the brightness of my phone screen, I see that I have one new text message from a number I don't have saved.
I was confused for a moment, but I completely understood what was happening when I unlocked my phone and read the text, a smile curving at my lips.
"Goodmorning, beautiful. Meet me in the Westside Cafe at 12? I believe we've got some get to knowing to do. -Ansel"
