Pain.
That's what I felt as I curled into a tiny ball in the small space.
I didn't know where I was.
I didn't even know what I was.
What was my name again? I was having trouble remembering.
All I could tell was that I was in a tiny space barely big enough for me to curl into a tiny ball.
It was cold there. Like it was made of metal. A tiny hole was above my head, filtering in dusty light.
My entire body ached. Something wet trickled down my forehead.
My skin was cold, and stung where it stuck to the side of where I was.
