Second day of school. I did my normal routine and was soon set out with Nicole and the rest, dropping Divine half way before going straight to our school. If I had been told something was coming to totally knock me off my feet today, I might as well have just stayed home and avoided it.
As soon as I got into the hall and was walking towards my locker with Nicole trotting behind me, I sighted the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Damn, even Louisa couldn't compare. I didn't get a full view of her though, she was standing side ways so only a part of her face was revealed. But from what I saw, my insides danced unusually. Her hair, brown and straight fell down to her waist. She had very straight legs, her back side was quite round and when my eyes trailed up to her cleavage, I couldn't help but stare a little longer. They were round and firm and...
"Eva, are you okay?" Nicole was in my face distracting my wild thoughts. I blinked severally before steadying my gaze at her.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I managed to say. She looked at me like she didn't believe me and shrugged. My eyes went to the girl again and this time she looked towards me and gave me a warm smile before going off with her friends. I'm sure Nicole must have noticed that last action, because she laughed softly before saying, "Looks like cupid just shot an arrow."
"Oh, shut up Nicole." I growled playfully.
I didn't get to see the mystery girl again until lunch time. We were already seated at our table before she came into the cafeteria with her friends. As soon as our eyes met, I looked away shyly. Strange! I had never been shy at anyone, if you looked at me, I boldly stared back. When I raised my head again, she had settled down among the crowd so it was difficult to locate her until someone made a comment.
"Yo, Vanessa, mind coming for my party?" Seriously, the students in this school were loud, but today I was grateful for their loudness. The girl whose name was Vanessa looked up and replied, "sure thing. I'll show up." Her voice was just as I had imagined it, soft like her body. What was I even thinking? I've never admired any girl this much. The least I'll do is compliment you and let it at that. Vanessa sure had a different effect on me.
I turned to Nicole, "what party is that?"
"Its for Dan. He's throwing his birthday party this Friday. Wanna go?" She said.
I've always loved parties and Vanessa going was a bonus, why do I care if she's going?
"Yea, I'll like to go." I answered Nicole.
I hope this doesn't go out of hand. As we finished our food and stood up to leave I noticed Vanessa's eyes on me, she was checking me out and I could tell that the red hue on my cheeks where visible for the whole world to see and I had literally turned red all over. I looked away from her and concentrated on walking out the room with Nicole and the others.
