The song on the side is She's Everything (Live) by Brad Paisley. I tweaked the lyrics just a little bit in the story to make it fit better.
YOU GUYS HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT, IT MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER
Listen to it when Nathan starts playing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*takes a deep breath to keep one from screaming*

Six days later, I was in the kitchen making dinner when the front door slammed shut.

"Beau!" Odette calls. "There's two packages here for you!"

And then I hear the sound of them ripping.

The spoon in my hand clatters to the kitchen floor and I slip in the sauce that splatted off it. I jump to my feet and rush to the kitchen to find her standing in the doorway with two packages, starting to open one of them.

We always do this. When she gets a package I'd open it and vice versa.

Before I can say a word, Gabe speaks up.

"They're mine." He says proudly. Standing up, he moves to stand in front of my girlfriend.

The family is in the living room, tense, watching.

"What did you order or Nathan's account?" She folds her arms across her chest clearly not believe him. The packages are clutched in her right hand and she's making no move to release them from her iron grip.

Gabe grins proudly.

"I forgot to pay for Amazon Prime this month." He shrugs. "I used Nathan's account to overnight condoms."

"Condoms?" She narrows her eyes. "You can get those anywhere."

He's not used to being questioned by my girlfriend. She's very smart and thinks of everything.

There's no way she's going to believe him.

"They're cheaper online." Gabe says without missing a beat. When she opens her mouth to ask him something else, he puts his hand up. "Before you ask, there's two packages because one of them is ultra thin and one of them is ribbed."

"Ribbed?" She repeats.

"Yes. Ribbed, you know, to get in there? It really get the g-"

"Okay." She puts her left hand up and shoves the two packages in his chest. "I don't need a play by play."

"You were asking." He shrugs.

She looks at me.

"Why did you come running in here like I was going to open something that is the key to my entire life?"

I almost laugh. It basically is the key to her life.

I can't think of a response or a decent reply, so I do the only thing I can that I know will distract her.

I lean in and kiss her, pulling her to my body.

She kisses me back, her arms wrapping around my neck, distracted.

I kiss her hard and frantic until she pulls away.

"What's wrong, beau?"

I frown.

"I just...had a bad day. I missed you."

Her face softens and she kisses me again, and then she hugs me.

"I am sorry, darling." She murmurs. She kisses me one more time. "I'm going to change though, I will be back, I promise."

"Okay." I say sadly.
