IT HAS BEEN A YEARSin my childhood when grandpa had to steal a few precious hours to chronicle me of some of his pirate's stories while he was holding his golden ancient telescope as his illustrations that he had always used it from a very long time.
He told me about his solace adventure and stated that he always brings the painting while having their epic journey which he didn't even specify it to me when was actually that happened. The painting was now hanged on the wall at the top of the chimney undisturbed.
Though, It was the only picture in the house that I liked. It was just a picture of a ship - a black ship sailing straight towards you. She had just run-up to the top of one glorious blue wave, and the nearer slope of that wave came down towards you, with streaks and bubbles on it. All the sunlight fell on her from that side, and the water on that side was full of greens and purples. On the other, it was darker blue from the shadow of the ship.
"I would like to go there, grandpa..." little 5-year-old me said.
He taught me to be brave, a courageous one, and being myself by mentioning his friend from his stories. Well, he didn't mention anything about being a thief, a scoundrel, and being such a dishonest person which the pirates did all the time and that was wrong to follow, of course, but as a little girl, being a child is quite a dim-witted.
Every day and night, I keep requesting to grandpa to tell more of his stories. Clearly, it's been one of my favorite bedtime stories all the time when I was a kid. His journey was quite strange though. I felt always confused about all the things he had mentioned, but I enjoyed all the magical journey he had anyway.

...And until now,
For the years past, it was a mere spring afternoon. Finally, the road was at peace, I drove at the forest reaching my grandparent's house. I was about to stay there at least a few days to health care because no one has going to look for them and help for now.

So far, it's been a long awhile I visited here. The house was old and I could see they have full of appointed antique pieces of furniture in each room. It's kind of an old-fashioned way but they seem to be modern too.
I tread to the door until my grandma and grandpa greeted me.
I looked down, a stack of CDs clutched at my arms so I began to put the stuff on the rear table.
My grandpa is very delighted that I bring it here and especially visiting him. I saw him rummaging the box until he found a sweet CD and play it on their TV.
"(Y/N)?..." Grandmother greeted. She needs help to carry those boxes into the storage room.
I nodded and took the boxes.
When I went back to the living room and suddenly heard a mumbling. Someone's mumbling about that the CD doesn't work. I looked it up only on the TV. I began to feel wonder, where the TV screen were all, went black with moving lines, that isn't working at all.
"Well..., it's broken.," I claimed. "I'm sorry..."
Until I've realized their TV aged by so many eras. What does he expect?
He looks at me strangely, "Uhh, it's alright dear, we can fix it."
He stood up and took the CD, watching his way through the fireplace and took the painting hanged in the wall at the top of the hearth using the wood stick hook.
I felt confused, What is he doing?
Suddenly, the voice called me again.
"(Y/N). Poor dear. You could place your stuff in the room anyway. Here, I'll show it to you. Let me help you with that bag..." My grandma came smiling.
"Oh, it's okay grandma. I can take it. Thank you.." I grabbed my bag and follows her into the staircase until we reach to my room.

There I switched my clothes and descended toward the stairs to reach the living room.
Wandering around at their antiques on the shelves. Seeing souvenirs and collections they've brought by a long time ago. After these ten years, he didn't even tell me when did he get these ever, it still a mystery.
Now I found something pretty, looking on the antique ship inside of the bottle. Being curiously lass, asking how did they make this?
Until I noticed my grandpa is right behind me, he found that I was looking at their antiques. His eyes were unreadable.
"Do you ever travel before?" He asked, strangely.
I shrugged, "No, but I'd like to, especially doing some adventure things as you did before, well, too bad I can't afford this year, it's pretty complicated though."
"Well, don't lose your hope, someday, you can travel around the world, all you must do is to be patient," he said.
Yeah, yeah, the motto, every line has a cliché motto...
"But it could be more interesting you'll be traveling in the place and meet someone.." he added.
My lips pursed to smile, "Anyway, I prefer traveling alone, without any companion because sometimes it's ...complicated.." I crossed my arms, doesn't know what to say anymore.
"Yes, Sometimes.." He rose his brow. That is all he said. Though, why is he sounded different?
Suddenly, my grandma breaks the conversation, inviting us to eat for dinner this evening with them. Grandma insisted she would be the cook this time. The dinner has served.
How I am feeling peckish today. We walked to the dining room and placing the chairs to sit, eating some delicious dinner while having some conversation with each other.
