"Adi! Get back here!" Shouted a Persephone running down the black sanded shore.

"You'll have to- uf!" Adi ran into something and looked up.

"Catch me?" Hades asked his son. Hades picked him up and handed him to Persephone.

"What do I have to do for you to stay put?" Persephone asked Adi.

"Let me sit next to the river of Phlegethon! I just want to see all the souls going into Tartarus." Adi pleaded.

"Adi, no, you are not going back there." Persephone said Adi looked to his father with pleading eyes.

"It couldn't be that bad?" Hades said and Persephone glared.

"Adi, would you please go back to the temple? I need to talk to your father." Persephone said. Adi slugged back to the temple of Hades.

"Persephone, he just wants to see the dead souls, what's so bad about that?" Hades said and Persephone slapped him.

"He isn't fully god Hades! He could die down here. What do you think my father would say if he died? He would blame you for his death!" Persephone yelled.

"Fine, what should I do then? The boy is just bored." Hades said, frowning.

"Well, what do you do when your bored?" Persephone asked. Hades smiled.

"Watch romans beg for mercy." Hades said. Persephone rubbed her temples.

"Hades, he is a child. You need  to do something with him that he couldn't die doing." Persephone walked away and went back to the temple of Hades.

The temple was the color of the gods, a soft white marble with engraved columns. Golden accents littered the palace. Adi sat on an altar looking more bored then Cerberus. Persephone walked in to find Adi and noticed the boredom on his face.

"Adi, would it be okay if we went up to Olympus? I just don't want you to  have to stay here all winter." Adi frowned.

"But this is my home. And you can't go back up to Olympus. I would be lonely." Adi said softly, looking back at Persephone. "And I can't leave Bruce here all alone!" Persephone sighed.

"Adi, we've had this conversation before. You are not staying down here. I want you up on Olympus where you can be watched by Hera and Demeter." Persephone said. She smiled and Adi groaned.

"Just, don't Eros get me. He's a jerk." Adi said and Persephone stiffened.

"What did you say?" Adi stopped and looked at the ground. "Adi, repeat what you said. Now." Persephone looked sternly at Adi. Adi shifted and looked at the temple.

"I said, that Eros is a jerk." Adi felt his mothers glare. He sat down and curled inwards as if to hide himself. "If you are going to hurt me, do it quick. Torturing you son isn't the best thing." Adi said, looking straight at the shiny part of the floor where his tears lay.

He then ran out of the temple and found Charon. He got in the old long boat and it started to row out to the middle of the river.

"Sir Adi, would you like me to bring you up the shore?" Charon asked, looking at the distressed child.

"Yes please. Thank you Charon." Adi sat calmly in the boat as it rowed slowly across the river of Acheron. He finally got to the shore and was about to head off when Charon stopped him.

"Your father went off this way near the Styx east side, I wouldn't tell you to go there myself, but, if you just happened to end up there." Charon shrugged his shoulders and started to row back into the river.

Adi stared for a second and then realized someting.

"Thank you Charon!" He shouted into the fogy distance. He satrted to run towards where Charon had told him and soon enough he found Hades.

"Papa!" Hades turns around and sees Adi.

"Hey little D, where's your Mother?" Hades asked, looking around and not seeing Persephone.

"Oh, yeah, she's back at the temple. She said I could go out and explore." Adi smiled and Hades sighed.

"Adi, don't lie to me. She did not say you could go explore." Hades frowned. "Adi, come here." Hades kneeled down to Adi's level. "Look at that, do you know what that is?" Hades pointed in the distance.

It was a contrapsion made of wood and mental. It had a rectangular frame and had a blade at the top. Someone was dropping the blade every few minutes onto something, but Adi couldn't tell what. He squinted harder and gasped as he stumbled back into his fathers arms.

"Why is.. sniff A hu..human there Sniff ?" Adi hugged his fathers arm. Hades picked him up and walked back to the river of Acheron.

Charon's boat came to the shore and Hades got in with Adi still in his arms. He looked up to Charon and Charon was already rowing. Hades rubbed Adi's back and felt him start to breath slower. When they got to the shore Hades thanked Charon and headed up to the temple. He got in and Persephone was going to yell at him, but saw Adi. Hades gave him to Persephone and got a small bag.

"Now, I'll take him up to Olympus. I don't trust your cousin to come down here and get him. I'll take him up and then I'll be back." Hades went to grab Adi and Persephone held him a little closer.

"Why can't I go? How do I know you won't just sacrifice him or something?" Persephone held Adi tight in her arms.

"Seph, I'm not like either of my brothers, you know I would never do that. You know I couldn't. I can't kill. One of the pleasures of being king of the Underworld." Hades smiled and Persephone handed him Adi. Adi squirmed a little bit. "I'll be back in a little bit. Love you." Hades walked out of the temple and then went back to Charon, past the river, and up to Olympus.
