[COMPLETED] It has been over year since I have last seen him, those curls, those dark eyes. And now I was meeting him again, but this time it was as his best friend's girlfriend.
Addilyn and Jack had a rocky relationship. After leaving things unset...
It was the end of the school day and I was waiting for Kim at my locker. We always ride to school together. When she saw me from across the hall her face lit up like a Christmas tree. She started speed walking. "OMG!! What happened this morning with Jack?!?" she basically yelled. Her loud question earned us look from others in the hallway.
"Would you keep it down?" I asked. "I'll tell you in the car." She took a hold of my wrist and started yanking out into the school parking lot. She unlocked the car and jumped into the driver's seat in a blink of an eye. I took my time opening the car door and slowly getting in the seat.
"Okay we are in the car. Now tell me what happened!" Kimberly lives for drama and romance. She's always sticking her nose in other people's business.
"It's not that big of a deal. He just asked me out. No biggie." I tried to stay as calm as I possibly could when I said that.
"No biggie? NO BIGGIE?!!! JACK AVERY, SCHOOL STAR ASKED YOU OUT!! WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?!?" At this point she was just being over dramatic and ridiculous.
"Kimberly!! Calm down! It is no big deal. He said he needed help with something and I asked what that was. He told me he needed help getting to know him and that I should go on a date with him. I ended up telling him I'd think about it." I said that all without taking a breath.
"What do you mean by 'think about it'? You obviously need to say yes."
"I don't know," I said rubbing my forearm. "What if he is a sucky, stuck up person?"
"What's the worst that could happen? You end up wasting a couple of hours. If you really don't like him then just leave and you won't worry about what could've been." She was right. I could just give him a chance and spend my reading hour on him instead. See, this is the kind of smart Kim is. Not book smart but people smart. She finally started the car and started driving to my place. We blasted music on the radio, mostly stuff from HSM.
Kim stayed over for a couple of more hours until she left and I was left alone, watching The Office. My phone had died early so when I turned it back on I saw all my new notifications.

I'm 99.99% sure Kimmy would've given him my snap no matter what. I open my snapchat to see these messages:
NoodleJack: Hey, have u thought ab that date? -6:34
NoodleJack: C'mon, I'm not that bad of a guy. I promise -7:28
Then I opened his snap:

I feel bad. He thinks I've been ignoring him even though I haven't. I text him back.
Me: Hey Jack! I wasn't ignoring you, I promise. My phone died.And to answer your question from early, yes I will go on a date with you.
He responded back almost immediately.
NoodleJack: Great! You won't regret it!
I guess I'm going on a date with Jack Avery now.
