**1 Week Later**

Addilyn's POV

I didn't want to give into Jack and meet his sister but after days of him begging me I decided I would. Today is Saturday and I'm going over to his in an hour hour. He offered to come pick me up but usually the guy picks up the girl on dates and I didn't want him thinking this was a date. I already told him the rules:

Don't introduce me as your girlfriend; we're just friends

Don't use your sister to get me back

Don't train her to ask me questions about us

The second I feel pressured to forgive you, I leave. I will forgive you when I want but only I will have a say on that.

Don't do anything else that would make me mad, sad, or annoyed.

Jack said the last one was unreasonable but I don't see what's wrong with it.

An hour later I got in my car and put his address in my GPS. It wasn't that long of a journey as I hoped it would be. I parked on the side of the street and sat there for a second collecting my thoughts. No matter how cute she is, Jack is not a good guy, I reminded myself. I texted him that I was here and he came flying out the door soon after, his curls bouncing in the wind. I opened my car door and he closed it behind me. He went in for a hug but I pushed him back and held my hand up for a hive-five. "Hey buddy, Jack," I said as his hand collided with mine.

"Hey princ- buddy" he corrected himself. I followed him up the driveway to the house and he welcomed me in. He gave me a quick tour of the downstairs and then motioned for me to follow him upstairs. He showed me his room first. It was nice and clean. I didn't think he was serious when he said he was tidy. Then we stopped in front of a door and Jack knocked. "Isla, my friend is here," he said stressing 'friend'.

"Come in" a small, cute voice said. She was sitting on the floor playing with her toys.

"Hi Isla" I said as we walked in.

"Hi." she waved.

"So Isla this is Addilyn, Addilyn this is Isla" Jack introduced us. Isla reached out her small hand for a handshake.

"Very formal" I said and she chuckled.

"You're very pretty" she said.

"Thank you. So are you. How old are you Isla?"

"Six. Almost seven." (*I know Isla is eight rn but this takes place in the past*)

Isla gave me a very descriptive tour of her room and then we hung out and watched Descendants. After the movie, we went to a small diner to eat. Isla sat next to me and after we ordered she leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Do you like my brother? As in like-like?" I whispered back, "I don't know yet". She smiled and looked at Jack. He looked very confused about our whispering. She leaned back in and whispered, "Well I know that he like-likes you." I smiled.

"Jack, did you forget my rules?"

"What? No, why? I didn't tell her to say anything."

"Okay, sure" I said sarcastically. We ate and then headed back to his house. I decided to go home as soon as we got back. I got out of the car and said, "It has been fun hanging with you Isla but I think I should be going."

"So soon?" Jack asked. I nodded my head. "Okay then. Say bye Isla." Isla gave me a hug and said bye. She went inside and Jack walked me to my car. He leaned against my car. "See, that wasn't so bad," he said.

"Nope, it was not at all. You're sister is cute."

"So will we be doing this more often?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know. I don't want to get too attached to your sister just for us to break up after a first date."

"Break up?! First date?! So you forgive me?" A huge smile grew on his face.

I nodded. "Yes I forgive you." He gave me a tight hug, lifting me off the ground and twirling me. "Jack! Put me down" I said while laughing.

"Sorry I just got a little too excited."

"Excited for what?"

"Oh you'll see." And with that he opened my car door for me to get in. "I'll call you later," he said. He gave me quick kiss before shutting the door. And with a wave I drove off. I can't believe I forgave him so easily but I believed him when he said I was special to him. Now I need to inform Kimberly.
