 Addilyn's POV

The voice was coming from downstairs and was calling my name. "Addilyn!!" I recognized the voice right away. My mother. Always coming in at the best times.

When my mom's voice first filled the house, Jack looked like he was having a heart attack, detaching from the kiss almost immediately. "Who's that?" he questioned.

"Relax, it's just my mom."

"Is she gonna come up and attack me for being in the same space as her precious daughter?" he asked, still looking a bit nervous.

"No, she's not. She's chill so just relax." I gave him a quick peck and got out of the bed. I looked over at my clock on my desk. "Oh man, it's starting to get really late." He looked over to see the time.

"Yeah, you're right. Maybe I should get going."

"K, I'll walk you out, you know just in case my mom comes at you with a knife." His face shoot up to mine and it was full of terror. I couldn't help but laugh.

"That's not funny," he said after figuring out it was a joke.

""No, it was not funny. It was hilarious. You should've seen your face."

After a few minutes of me just straight up laughing at him, he got up and put on his shoes. I escorted him downstairs. My mom was sitting on the couch in living room by the stairs. "Hey mom." She turned around and her smile widen when she saw Jack behind me.

"Hey there. Addilyn, who is this?"

"This is Jack. Jack, this is my mom." He waved.

"Oooo, is this THE Jack?" she asked with raised eyebrows.

"And he was just leaving." I grabbed his wrist and started pulling him outside before she could embarrass me anymore.

"Nice to meet you," he said on his way out of the door. "Who is 'THE Jack'."

"Nobody important," I informed him.

"Okay I see how it is princess." I just gave a big grin. Jack got in his car and started it up. He rolled down the window. "See you tomorrow princess."

"If I decide to show up."

"Why wouldn't you?" His face showed concern.

"Well, there's this kid with noodle hair and he is just a pest." He laughed.

"Yeah, okay." He put his car in drive but kept his foot on the brake. "Kiss before I go," he pleaded.

"Fine I guess so," I replied back pretending to be annoyed.I leaned in half way through his window and he met me in the middle. Our lips connecting for a quick second and then we both pulled back. He slowly started backing up and I waved as he got further away. I started walking to my front door when his car stopped.

"Hey Princess! Wait for me after school!" I nodded and with a wink he drove off. I went straight up to my room after that, avoiding questions from my mom, and crashed.
