**1 Week Later**

Jack's POV

My life has been amazing for the past week. Addilyn forgave me and since then I have been beaming with happiness. I look forward to seeing her every morning at her locker and passing notes to her in studyhall. I love texting her for hours after school and seeing her smile on facetime. My excitement is probably really annoying to her but I don't care, she makes me happy. Tonight is what we are calling our "first official date." I have it all planned out and I'm going to surprise her.

Addilyn's POV

I'm rushing to put all my binders and folders in my backpack and I'm struggling. I'm getting a ride home from Jack and I don't want him waiting on me. Too late. I can see him walking down the hallway and the binders are halfway in, about to fall out. He sees my struggle and rushes over. He grabs the backpack and opens it wider as I place each binder inside. He gives me a big smile. Gosh I love that smile. "Thank you," I say as I zip up the bag.

"Anything for you." He winks. I shut my locker and put my backpack on my back. He intertwines our fingers as we walk out to the parking lot. "I can't wait for tonight" I said.

"Me too. I have a feeling you're going to love it."

"I would love it even more if you told me where we are going." He chuckles.

"I'm not telling you. You can stop trying now." I've been trying to get Jack to tell me where the date is everyday now. "Fine, I'll stop asking... for now."

We got to his car and started the journey to my house. I connected my phone to the stereo with the aux cord and started playing some hot jams. I put on my favorite song on and turned it up really loud. I looked over at Jack and see him singing along while drumming on the wheel. I pause the song in the middle of it to try to hear Jack's voice. And it worked, he kept going without the music. His voice is angelic. He gave me a weird look and said, "Why'd you stop the music? That was my jam."

"I wanted to hear you sing it. Jack, you are really good, like really really good."

His cheeks became a light pink color and he smiled. "Thanks."

"Didn't you say before that you had in an interest in music?"

"Yeah, I did. I didn't think you'd remember."

"Well I remembered and I support your choice, not that you needed my approval or anything, but you are really talented Jack."

"Oh stop it," he said playfully pushing me, "And I love having your support. We continued the ride by singing along to pretty much anything. I have quite the playlist.

The second he dropped me off, I ran inside my house and started getting ready for our special date.
