I was making breakfast when arms snaked around my waist. "Good morning." Seokjin smiled.
"Morning! Did you sleep well?" I asked, worried that I may have disturbed his sleep too badly.
"Hah, not really." He let go of me and leaned on the counter next to me.
"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.
"Yeah."
"Did I disturb you last night?"
"No, it's good that you woke me up. If something like that ever happens, make sure you wake me up."
"But then why didn't sleep too well? Were you not able to go back to sleep?"
"Yeah, not really. It took me a while."
"How come?"
"... I was worried about you. Even when you fell asleep, you were crying. I felt really bad."
"Seokjin, why would you feel bad about that?"
"I couldn't help you."
"But you did. You helped me sleep."
"Do you want to see a professional?"
"No, I'm fine." I shook my head and forced a smile, making him smile painfully.
"Are you sure?" I nodded as I started to set out the food. Seokjin helped me and as he was putting everything onto a plate, I noticed how gorgeous he looked doing it. 'He really looks like husband material- WAIT, WHAT AM I THINKING?!' He was able to plate everything so perfectly and delicately without even trying. I blushed at my thoughts as I continued to glance at him once in a while. 'I really am lucky to have him.'
As I ate, I caught him staring at me with my peripheral vision. "Is there a problem?" I asked, without looking up at him.
"What? U-Uh, no." He tensed, realising that I had caught him and blushed before looking down at his food.
"Why were you staring at me like that then?" I laughed, looking up at him. He just smiled down at his food shyly.
"It's hard not to." He mumbled.
"What do you mean?" He looked up at me and we locked eyes. His gaze lowered to my lips, making me blush. We had only ever kissed once and honestly, I wouldn't mind doing it again. I smiled down at my food and quickly finished up before standing up. "I'm going to go get ready for work." I quickly left, making Seokjin chuckle in amusement.
After work, there was a workplace party. I had forgotten about it and my phone had run out of charge. I couldn't tell Seokjin about it, but my workers wouldn't let me leave so I agreed to stay for the start of the party. Eunha, one of the chefs took the chance to befriend me.
"Hey! Y/N! Come have a drink with us!" I accepted the offer to be polite and walked over to Eunha and her friends. We got to know each other and after a while, I had forgotten about how much I was drinking. I realised I was getting drunk and put my drink down.
"Okay. That's it for me. I need to get back to Seokjin."
"Oh come on! The party just started!" Eunha slurred her words as she chugged another shot.
"Yeah, I agreed to be here for the start and that's that! I'll be off now!" I realised that I had begun to slur my words slightly too and it was making me worried. I had never been drunk before. 'Seokjin's going to kill me!' It was already late so I had to hurry to get home.
When I got home, Seokjin was pacing around nervously and holding his phone to his ear. Once he spotted me, he threw his phone onto the couch and sighed in frustration as he stormed over to me. "I've been calling you for ages! Where have you been?!"
"Sorry, I was dragged to a party." I said, trying not to slur my words as I closed the door behind me, stumbling a bit.
"Wait.. Are you drunk?" I avoided eye contact and looked down at my feet. I could see him clench his fists in anger.
"Sorry... I might be a bit drunk..." I mumbled nervously.
"What the fuck, Y/N?!" He shouted. He had never cursed like that at me before, but I kind of deserved it. "I've been waiting here for ages! Why didn't you at least tell me you would be coming late and why the fuck are you drunk?!"
"I was going to tell you, but my phone died. One of the workers asked me to drink with them so I did and I got carried away... I'm really sorry."
"You could have used someone else's phone!"
"I don't know your number off by heart."
"Jesus Christ Y/N! I can't believe you!" He ran a hand through his hair and sighed in frustration. "Why the hell would you drink that much?! I thought you were better than that!" I got on my knees and hung my head down.
"I'm sorry, Seokjin. I'm disgusted by my own actions."
"You should be." He growled. "You know what? Stand up." I did as he said and stood up, almost losing my balance, angering Seokjin further. "Go to our room." He nodded toward the bedroom door angrily and I immediately went. I sat on the bed nervously waiting for him and fiddling with my fingers restlessly.
After a few minutes, Seokjin came into the room with a bottle of vodka in his hand. He took a gulp and glared at me as he put the bottle on the bedside table. I felt slightly angry that he had lectured me for drinking and then he came in like this.
"Oh, so I can't drink, but you can?" I muttered.
"I have to be drunk for what I'm about to do to you." I froze in fear.
"W-What?"
