1st October 2015 (Jim's POV):

I woke up and still felt over the moon, Charli had just told me of her pregnancy and I was so excited. I knew things were going to get tough for her so I thought that I would begin a little secret project on the side of my usual work.

I had decided to get up and make her an egg sandwich with some bacon and eggs and then bring it to her in bed. When I opened the door I saw her sitting on her phone but her eyes gave away that she was still a little tired. "Morning, I made you breakfast sweetheart." I said in order to get her attention. I placed the lap tray over her legs and kissed her, before leaving and heading to my office.

I had managed to find some scraps of wood and was going to make an office in the garden for myself in order to keep my work out of the way of Charli and the baby when it eventually comes. The whole week disappearance had given me time to work out what I was going to need and now I have some time in order to build it - and when I come back from being called away - I can get back on with it. I was also thinking of creating a pond where we could sit and relax when things got a bit stressful.

(Charli's POV):

Jim thought this little shed and pond was going to be a surprise but honestly, I already knew. I saw him come home with piles and stacks of wood and a pump which I figured out pretty quickly what it was going to be for. I didn't want to break his spirit because he looked so excited as he was working on the projects.

Later that day, I decided that I should go and buy one or two maternity clothes and maybe a few things for the baby. But, I had completely lost track of time and it had gotten dark.

I had to walk down a dark alleyway to get back to the house and started to walk slightly faster than usual as I had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. Suddenly a figure appeared from in front of me. I turned to look behind me but just to see another person behind me.

The next thing I knew I was slowly opening my eyes to see a painful amount of light coming from above me. "What the..."

My eyes locked onto something or rather somebody on the chair opposite me.

"What am I doing here?" I asked,

"He thinks he can get away with anything, that he can take all that he wants for no return. He's got another thing coming for him. If he thinks that he can get away with the murder of my sister then he deserves revenge," he came closer and whispered in my ear, "A life for a life."

He then turned sharply on his heel and began to leave.

"What makes you think that you can kill me?" I ask with a sharp rise in confidence.

"Oh sweetheart, I never said anything about killing you." His eyes trailed to my stomach before he left.

All I needed was the perfect timing now. I plan for any eventuality in my head which is something I have learned to do from working with Jim.

I had taken mental notes of the rooms layout. There was a small window next to the door which allowed me to see the guards and when they changed over - on the hour, every hour. Now all I needed was the perfect run of events.

Without getting caught.
