13th July (Charli's POV):

Me and Jim loved being in the beating heart of London so much. However, it did have some pros and cons.

It was a quiet day and we were sitting on the sofa watching whatever we could find, and just enjoying our time together when the doorbell rang out.

We weren't expecting what we found next. A man in a crisp suit was standing at our.

"Can I help you sir?" I asked politely

"Charli, I am beyond disappointed!" The man spoke up,

"Look this isn't funny Sherlock. You're not going to get a reaction out of me so it's best if you go home now back to your little Johnny boy." I said,

"Who's Sherlock?"

"Very funny Sherlock!" I said getting irritated,

"I'm serious, I'm not Sherlock, I am someone much closer and related to you than you might possibly think Charli!" He said in a monotone voice.

"Charli, go upstairs, I'll find out what's going on," Jim whispered into my ear.

(Jim's POV)

She left. I took my keys out of the door, stepped outside and scanned my eyes over to the man.

"How do you know Charli?" I asked

"You should know by now Mr Moriarty, or hasn't your fiancée told you yet?" He answered

"Scrap that last question, who are you?"

"Someone who has an interest in keeping her safe and will do anything to make that happen, I will be willing to make you a large payment to keep away from her."

"I will not be taking any bribes or anything until you tell me who you are and what your connection to Charli is!"  About now was when I was losing it. I could get this man killed in a press of a button but of course he wouldn't know that!

"Fine if you don't want to help yourself, we'll just have to do this the old fashioned way!" he said standing up and pulling out a gun.

I was not bothered by this, I have my men who watch over me. I pulled out my gun and walked closer to the man.

"Any last words 'cause I will burn the heart out of you." I stated

"No but just you wait to see what you'll unleash. It's not just me I've got an army!"

"And that's meant to scare me?" I asked

He remained silent. What he did do was load his gun. I need to do this though. On the side of my gun I have a small button almost invisible. I pressed it and sure enough Seb pulled the trigger from his hiding place on the balcony. It wasn't an actual bullet but it was a tranquilliser dart so he would be out for a couple of hours.

He fell to the floor. So I took this opportunity to search him. Sure enough I found his ID.

This couldn't be true!

*Charli's PoV*

"Charli get down here please!" I heard Jim plead

I pulled myself off the bed walked downstairs to find the man laying on the floor and Jim almost in tears clutching the man's ID papers!

"Jim what is it?" I asked rushing over to him.

He showed me the papers.

It read:

David Mayer,

Lawyer for M and N lawyers LTD.

"Are you sure this is your cousin?" Jim asked

"Yes, my mother used to tell me stories about my family. It was just her and me. I never knew he existed until I was a teenager and I received a letter about a cousin with his name. I asked my mum and dad and they explained that my mother had a brother who died way before I was born, and the child was put up for adoption and that was the last they heard of him for many years until about 10 years ago when we caught word of him escaping a place called Sherringford."

"I know that place well" he said, "But why didn't you mention about this before?"

"This was why I moved to London, I thought in a busy city I could avoid him. Evidently not. But when I met you, I knew you would protect me if he ever did. I trust you Jim and I love you." He kissed me. Then we heard the click of a gun.

Nothing happened.

"I took the liberty of removing your clip and all ammo you have on you." Jim stated dryly.

"Oh you stupid little boy. Just like I thought you would be!"

We didn't speak, we just looked at each other.

Suddenly a loud crash from the balcony happened and we both turned to look at it. Seb came crashing down from being pushed over the railings, Jim rushed over but before I could move or scream. David put his hand over my mouth and covered my eyes with a blindfold dragging me into the awaiting van outside.
