-- Play song whenever --

Anthony, my childhood friend and crush since sixth grade, had told me to his wedding. I was happy for him, but I knew Melina didn't like me. Anthony and I have known each other for almost twenty years. I knew everything about him, even how he's unhappy with his fiancé.

Yes, he didn't like Melina. She was always yelling at him and Constance's flirted with Tyler. Hell, I've seen it. Tyler came to visit Anthony and Melina sat on the couch trying to get in his pants. Thank God Tyler isn't a complete fucking idiot.

Anthony still said he was marrying her. I didn't want him to be miserable so I had to mentally prepare myself before the ceremony. As I got to the church, I looked around and noticed all Anthony's friend he's played video games with. I spotted Scott and Chrissy as Chrissy came over to me.

"(Y/N)! It's nice to see you. I didn't think you were coming. Well, I didn't think you were invited. Melina said she wasn't going to invite you." Chrissy whispered the last few parts to me. Melina not inviting me? Yeah, no surprise there.

"I had to come, Chrissy. Anthony is my best friend. There was no way I was missing this. Even if I wasn't invited." I smiled some. Chrissy nodded as she pulled me to the side.

"You're not planning anything, are you?" She whispered to me. She knew that I liked Anthony since I always turned to her. I looked at her before looking up at Scott who was talking with Tyler and Kelly.

"I-I don't know. He's so unhappy with her and I know he can do so much better." I said. Chrissy nodded before Scotty tapped her shoulder.

"We should get seated soon. I'll see ya inside." Chrissy said as she walked away with Scott. I leaned my back against the wall as I began to think.

Anthony would be so much better with me than Melina. I wouldn't yell at him and I sure as hell wouldn't tell him that his best friend wasn't allowed to be at our wedding. Was she jealous of me? I knew she was.

I soon went in unnoticed as I began to hide behind some curtains. I couldn't believe I was doing this. I couldn't believe that she didn't want me here. Yes, I'm salty over this, very salty. She even did this with the guys! They never got to see him or play with him due to Melina. She basically controlled him. He wasn't allowed to do anything while she got to hang out with her friends all the time.

I remember the one time that Anthony was playing some Overwatch with me for fun and Melina threw a fit. He "got off Skype" with me, which he really didn't. After that, he told me how she was going out with a few of her girl friends and a few guys. Melina started bitching about how Anthony 'shouldn't care' if she goes out with friends. Fucking bitch.

I was snapped back into my thoughts when I heard the music start. I glanced out a small slit of the curtain and saw Anthony standing at the alter. He looked nervous and sort of sad. He had that look in his eye. I saw as the groomsmen began walking down the isle with the bridesmaid. I watched as Melina soon came down the isle. As the two got together the ceremony began.

The Priest went on and on about love and shit that made me think. I love Anthony and I'm not letting him make this mistake. I watched the Priest before looking around the semi-large group of people. I spotted Chrissy who was sitting with David and Jaclyn, who all seemed to be chatting quietly with each other. Then, I was snapped back to reality once again.

"If anyone has a reason why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." The Priest said. Everyone was quiet until I looked out from behind the curtain.

"I-I do..." I said nervously. Everyone looked at me with horror as Melina snapped her head to look at me.

"Excuse me, but you weren't invited to the wedding. Get her out of here." Melina said. I ignored what she said as I just looked at Anthony. He turned and shot Melina a glare.

"You were the one who said she wasn't allowed to come. She is my best friend, Melina. I have known her most of my life." Anthony said. Melina looked at him with a mad look.

"I don't think these two should marry. Anthony, I know you don't love Melina. She's a controlling person who doesn't allow you to speak with me or your friends. Yet, she gets to see her friends whenever she wants? Anthony, why are you going through with this? This isn't you." I said as I took a step towards the couple. Anthony turned to look at me with a sigh.

"She wanted to... Can I tell you something, (Y/N)?" Anthony said. Melina had crossed her arms over her chest as she watched the two of us.

"Uhm, excuse me?! We are in the middle of our goddamn wedding! Get her out of here!" Melina shouted. Anthony moved away from her as he came over to me. Anthony grabbed my my one hand as he placed the other on my cheek as he pulled me against him and pressed his lips on mine.

"What the Hell, Anthony?! Is this some sick joke you're playing on me?!" Melina shouted as she marched over to the two of us. She viciously pulled me away from Anthony and pushed me. I just watched her as Anthony glared her down.

"Leave (Y/N) alone! She's done nothing to you! You've been jealous since day one of my best friend. I thought that you would be a better person once we were married. Guess not. Goodbye, Melina. Have fun in life." Anthony said as he turned and began to walk off. As he walked past me, he grabbed my hand as the two of us walked out of the church.

"A-Anthony? You okay?" I asked once the two of us were outside of the church at his car. He loosed his tie as he let out a sigh. It took him a minute before he answered me.

"Thank you, (Y/N). Thank you for showing up and helping me realize I was making a mistake. I thought she was just like that because I always was with you and the guys. I thought you weren't coming to the wedding because you didn't like Melina. I had no idea she didn't invite you. Now, I'm ready to change my life. With being with the right person."

I was speechless. I didn't know what to do except wrap my arms tightly around Anthony. He let out a chuckle as he wrapped his arms around me. I slowly looked up at him as he didn't hesitate to connect his lips with him. I closed my eyes as I kissed him. I slowly pulled away from the kiss as I glanced around.

"C'mon. Let's run." I said as I got into Anthony's car. He chuckled as he jumped into the drivers seat and quickly drove away from the church and away from the girl he left at the alter.
