A murky man says, "Have you found her?"
"No, sire," another shadowy figure replies.
"Find her!" The voice roars.
With a start, Delilah startles awake as her heart pounds in her chest. Swallowing rapidly, she turns to glance at Holly on her bed, to find her still sound asleep. Stifling the fear in her heart, Delilah lays back down as the pounding in her heart slows.
Ever since having joined Princess Lena's employee the nightmares had ceased. She had forgotten what is like to have nightmares. After all, it was only just a dream.
Consoling herself, Delilah closes her eyes and falls sound asleep to the quiet chirping of the crickets in the night.
