Eve's POV:

"Move it we only have a half an hour before those vampires are unleashed on the world." Wallace shouted at several of his Guardians who were all gathering around the golden globe that had somehow been fixed. "Rayne are you sure you fixed it?"

Eve looked at her teacher just as she nodded her head and guided both Eve and Garrett over to the globe. From there the three of them took each other by the hand so as to strengthen the globes ability to transport the entire group. Rayne had told her about this and that without the alliance between witches and the human factions, something like this would have been impossible. The golden globes only had enough power to transport up to ten people at a time, but with the added power of a witch they can move up to twenty more for a total of thirty Saints per witch. And it was a good thing too because as far as Eve could tell there was nearly a hundred Saints present plus Rex who'd been offered the deal of being pardoned in exchange for his assistance with the Siege.

Wallace had chosen to leave Lance and the others behind however stating that they wouldn't be very easy to handle seeing as it was a full moon. And though she may have felt a little guilty about leaving Lance and his brother behind she agreed that it was probably safer to keep them here where they'd be watched until morning came. As for Issac, she didn't know how to feel about the boy just yet. All she knew was that he was a vampire that had been helping Jake but beyond that her knowledge of the boy was nonexistent, and seeing as the threat they were dealing with was a resourceful vampire it might have been best to leave him behind as well.

There was a loud crackling sound before her and when Eve turned to look she saw that a rather large orb of light was beginning to manifest above the golden globe. Upon seeing this Eve suddenly began to feel an unseen force begin to press against her and she felt her grip on both Rayne and Garrett begin to slip. She was being pushed back by whatever was being created by their combined efforts something she'd half expected. She'd worked with Rayne only once with combining their efforts on various things and every time she'd been thrown back by whatever was being created between them. Now with the help of both Rayne and Garrett, she was sure that this time it would be a hard fought battle just to stay on her feet.

"Eve," Rayne's voice called out but she couldn't see her teacher's face just the mass of light that was slowly spreading out from the globe. "Don't let go. Whatever you do, you hold onto our hands or else this won't work."

That's a lot easier said than done, Eve thought digging in her feet as best she could trying her best to hold onto her fellow witches hands' but the overwhelming mass of light was reaching her now and it was as solid as rock against her. Again she felt her grip loosen on her mentor's hand and this time she wasn't able to stand against the globe's light, she was going to be thrown back again. Or she would have been had it not been for Garrett calling out to her, reminding her of just who it was that could be on that island with Stark and his horde of vampires. Jake.

An image of his face flashed through her mind and suddenly she felt more determined than ever to get this done. Closing her eyes and squeezing Garrett's and Rayne's hands for all she was worth Eve held her ground against the ball of light which now felt more like water rather than stone. The ball of light slowly enveloped her and even with her eyes being screwed shut as tightly as she could manage, all she could see was an overwhelming light until finally she couldn't take it and nearly let go. Just as she did however the light faded just like that shrinking down to the size of a marble and suddenly Eve found her self-surrounded by cars whizzing past her on either side.

She shrieked and dove for the divider of the road and found herself looking around to find herself surrounded by dozens upon dozens of Saints clad in the black Skin armor that they used. All of whom had just been with her in the homeland of the Saint Shields and now were here in San Francisco. She'd done it! She'd held out long enough for all the Saints to be transported her to the Golden Gate Bridge, though that might be perceived as a bad thing at the same time. Now there were likely one hundred people blocking the road and just as many, if not more angry drivers honking their horns and getting out of their cars.
