Stacey exit the SUV onto the Rhode Island street. Stacey met with an eerie silence. She was going at this alone against Jared orders of watching the house.
"Break up into three groups. We got to make her think that an army is coming for her. Do not confront her. She is dangerous. Give me ten minutes and then come in."
"Yes mam," Raphael said "Jared will kill us if you don't return."
"He may if he chooses, make sure you get this letter to him."
Raphael watched the brave Mrs. As she walked with purpose towards a building. It glass-doors an open invitation for curious eyes. She was doing what any mother would do. Going against the viper for her sons. Silently he watched her disappear through the glass doors. Raphael counted to ten before he himself exited the car.
"You heard the lady ten minutes and the storm the building."
Raphael was good at his job. Using his military training. He ghosted Stacey steps. Making sure she didn't see him as he stealthily followed behind her. He knew Jared better than the others bringing her and the boys back was the only option. He just had to make sure they all got out alive.
Stacey pulled the collar of her red trench coat around her face. She wanted to give off a sense of assurance. Her knees felt as if they were going to give out.
"Hold on Caleb momma is on her way" she whispered.
Stacey stepped into the waiting elevator. She kept her connection to Franklin as pain rocketed through her body. The short elevator ride had her stepping off at the 3rd floor. She went to the closest of the two doors in the luxurious hallway. Leaning forward she sniffed, nothing. Turning she made a low growl in her throat at the opposite door. More than motherly instinct took hold of her as she charged the door.
Amy heard the first thump up against the door and turned from reaching for the door knob of the room that the boys were in. her attention being drawn from her present task. She turned her head sensing a female were-panther. The second impact against the door had it flying off its frame. A woman no more than 5"5 stood within the doorway.
"What the hell do you want?"
"My boys."
Stacey didn't wait as she rushed Amy taking her by surprise as the impact of her slamming into Amy had both women flying through the door where the boys were. Franklin and Caleb stood, both women grunted as they hit the floor.
Raphael had just rounded the corner of the stairway exit, when he saw Stacey rushing a door and going through it. His ears picked up "My sons." He could tell bodies had slammed into one another.
"Momma" both boy's cries. Amy rose slowly from the floor. She smiled evilly as she watched the woman gather the boys behind her.
"So, you are momma. Not much of a woman from what I can see."
"I can say the same about you. Hurting defenseless children. My boys are leaving with me."
"We shall see about that."
Stacey was no fool. She could smell that the viper was an alpha. She did not care now; her concern was getting the boys out alive. Both women roared and wet at each other. Amy's clawed nails slashed across Stacey's midsection. Ripping deep gashes through the fabric. Stacey stumbled backwards as Amy pounced. She barely sidestepped the attack catching Amy across the back. "Run!" she called over her shoulder and took a knee to the side of her head. She grabbed ahold of the viper and swung her into the wall. Stacey watched as the boys ran passed her. They headed for the door. Amy roared and hit Stacey in the middle of her back with an elbow.
