"Kawaii~Chan... will you sleep with me tonight?"

Zane woke up and looked at his clock... 3:33 a.m.
Zane looked in the corner of his room to find a huge black figure in the corner, bending over as to not touch the ceiling.
"Don't hurt me again," Zane said firmly.
"Someone got stern, didn't they?" the demon snickered.
"You need to tell me what you're here for. I have company."
"Oh, do you now? I'm scared. Let's ease up the tension and play a game?" the figure asked.
"Sure. Let's play 20 questions," Zane immediately said.
"Hmmm... alright. That must be your favorite," the demon said smugly.
"Question one: who are you?" Zane asked with no hesitation.
"Who am I? What am I? Which am I? Where am I? Who knows? You only know two of me... two fantasies that you created in your head, the worst possible thing... I am many people, I am many things, none of which you would like much," the demon smoothly said.
"Question two: what do you want from me?" Zane asked.
"You see, I'm one to play with my food," the demon answered.
"Question three," Zane said without even flinching by the fact he might die. "Are you one of my friends?"
"The opposite," the figure said. "You hate me, in fact you burn with hatred."
"Okay... question four: did you visit the lodge with me, Aaron, Aphmau, Kim, and Lucinda?" Zane asked.
"Do you know who I am?" the demon asked Zane.
"I have a guess," Zane said.
All of a sudden, the demon wasn't standing there... Ein was. "It's not me, I swear!" Ein cried, not noticing Zane. "Please! The pain is horrific! Don't torture me anymore!! It's not me!" Ein let out a bloodcurdling scream as he crumbled to the floor.
Then, the demon returned in Ein's place. "I am not that weakling Ein."
"You never answered my question," Zane said, strong on the outside but secretly crying inside.
"Yes, I was following you all in the lodge. But not once did you notice me."
"Then who are you?!" Zane asked hopelessly.
"Hmm.. a hint? Yes, when you were with me I remember these exact words... 'A man impersonated another person to trick people, and stabbed my girlfriend...'!" the demon said in a desperate voice.
Zane slowly looked up. "N-no... you can't be... you're not–"
...Zane woke up.
