VERY IMPORTANT AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END OF THIS

Zuri

My mouth dropped. I was so happy for Laur. I started to smile as I felt Griff grab my shoulder.
     "What'd she say?" He exclaimed.
"She's going with them!" I yelled. His mouth dropped and he smiled. And that point, Lauren walked out of the office with her parents and Lou. Griff and I didn't even give her a second before running to her and giving her a hug.
"So you guys heard?" She managed to squeak out.
"Guys let her breathe!" Lou exclaimed. We let go and continued smiling.
"So yeah, I'm going to live with my parents and Lou," Lauren smiled.
"I'm so happy for you Laur!" Griff gushed and hugged her. This time, she hugged back. He could relate to her the most since he is now living with Xander. Come to think of it, it's almost as if all three of us are adopted.

I hugged Griff tightly. It really was awesome to have such amazing friends who cared about me so much. Zuri joined in again. "I'm really nervous," I mumbled into Zuri's ear.
"It'll all be ok," she whispered back.
"We need to take Lauren off Camp for a little while," my mom said. "Just so we can figure everything out legally and financially."
"Aw," Zuri moaned. "How long?"
"Not long!" My dad assured. "Just a few days- a week at most." Zuri and Griff nodded.
"Well i better pack up some stuff for while I'm away," i sighed. "Zuri can you come with me?" I asked. She nodded.

We went down to Woodchuck talking. Not really discussing what just happened, just talking. We talked about how the breakfast this morning tasted funny, we talked about memories from the earlier campfires, we just talked. And for once, I felt as ease. I felt as if God wasn't trying to destroy me.

Laur and I walked into Woodchuck to get some of her clothes and stuff packed up for the week. She seemed awfully calm. We sorted through some of her clothes and packed one of her bags. "Do you know when you're going?" I asked.
"Tomorrow morning," She replied as she stuffed a sweatshirt into her duffel. "I'll miss you," she sighed as she looked up.
"It's only a week," I pointed out trying to make her feel better.
"I know, but these past few weeks with you, and Griff, and Tiffany, they've been the best weeks of my life." She paused for a second. "I thought I didn't have a family until now, but I was wrong. Because all of you are like my brothers and sisters." She smiled and hugged me. I know it's only I week, but I'm really going to miss Lauren
