Spruce's POV...
While we're once again walking the desolate streets of Del, I couldn't help myself no longer. My mind keeps wandering off about
Meta Knight and his Mirror World copy. They give me a headache, even when I'm not using my mind-reading powers. And something tells me that Dark Meta Knight is almost always like this.Poor guy.
If what Meta Knight says is true, then this has to be the most hopeless person I've ever met. He has pitch black bags beneath his ruby red eyes, a rippling scar on the right side of his face, and a line of drool on the side of his mouth. His cape's all torn up around the edges and the color of obsidian.
Mirror Worlders are supposed to be ruthless and terrifying fighters, seeking the ruin of their originals.
And this guy just wants a few shots of Nova-knows-what.
"We should be there in a few minutes, now."
DMK assures us. I feel Meta Knight thinking to himself, so I decide to find out what he's wondering about.I almost feel bad for him... his life was nothing but ruinous and full of deception, lots and lots of it. And Opala? It would be REALLY nice if you could take at least twenty steps away from Galacta Knight....
I exit his mind and check Dark Meta Knight's next.
Rosie has to accept this. She just has to. You know everything is going to be fine, so don't worry, DMK. This'll work out. Don't fail this time. You can do it. You know you can...
His encouraging thoughts keeps on trudging in his mind. Probably to keep the thought of addiction off of it, but who's Rosie? Most likely the next person we are recruiting. After a few seconds of mental recovery, I then peek into Galacta Knight's thoughts-
...
Galacta Knight smirks underneath his menacing mask quite maniacally.
I don't like him...
"We're here." Dark Meta Knight suddenly halts, with the rest of us stopping behind.
We stand in front of a convenience store, and believe it or not, I've actually never been in this part of town. It's actually pretty nice compared to the parts I grew up in, but it's still Del.And Del will always be a giant trash pit.
He marches inside and converses with a bunch of people. They don't sound like Truvians...
He steps outside with a female Star Warrior with rose colored skin and sky blue eyes. "Guys, this is Rosie. She's agreed to help us and all that. Right?"
With a small shrug, she replies in a strange accent. "I'll do what I can."
Meta Knight gives his copy an unsurprised glare. "How is she going to help?"
Returning the glare to his original, DMK replies. "You said that the Halcandrans are going to end our existences. She has plenty of ties with Halcandrans and she can even speak and read their language or words fluently. Therefore, Rosie can help in a variety of ways. Ok?"Wrapping himself in his cloak, he mumbles his response."Whatever you say."
I don't believe it. This is WAY too fishy. Is DMK plotting against us or something? I wonder if the others feel the same...
