A Healthy Helping of What the Heck is going on

I fall into another portal after the other, my life flashing before my eyes, until I land on...

...Snow?

I look up to see that I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Nothing but tundra for miles.

Where am I..?

I begin to walk upon the snow and ice, not knowing where I'm heading.

Wind howls, threatening to blow me off my feet.

Good job, DMK. You're now trapped in a blizzard.

I feel myself freezing, but there's nothing I can do.

Icicles hang from my mask, but to be honest I think that's pretty cool.

Until I fall unconscious onto the ice.

.......

"Don't give up, strong one. You'll feel better soon. Just don't give up..."

I flutter my eyes open to see a maskless navy blue Star Warrior staring at me with caring sky-blue eyes.

"Are you alright, dear?" She asks, feeling my forehead with the back of her glove, and lifting it away.

"Where... Where am I?" I manage to cough out.

"Castelolia. A distant planet, but a beautiful one." She says, leaning back and closing her eyes.

"But I saw you, frozen and half-dead, and..."
she pauses to breathe.
"I just can't bear to witness another casualty of a fellow."

"Well, that's mighty nice of you to help me. But where's my mask?"

"On the night-desk on your right." She says.

I look around to see that I'm in a bed with in a moderately big room.

Made of ice.

I'm in an igloo.

That's a first.

Looking to my right, I pick the thing up, and slide it back onto my face.

But as soon as I did, the metal felt colder than the ice, and I decided a little longer without the mask wouldn't hurt.

But the lady chuckles in amusement, earning a confused look from me.

"You're not Castelolian, are you? That's okay.
I wonder how you got here... Such a mystery! But I need to go to the market. There's tea in the kettle on the stove and a bowl of snow berries on the tabletop. Don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone."

She wraps a scarf around herself and plucks a woven basket from the ground as she leaves.

"Wait." I blurt.
"Hm?" She pokes her head back into the doorway.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Glacier. And you?"
"It's long, but... Dark Meta Knight."

Her face enlightens with curiosity.
"A Mirror Worlder..! Well, mister! As long as you don't plan to harm anyone, you're welcome to come with me. I'm sure everyone will want to greet you." Glacier says, wrapping a scarf around me as well.

We step outside, and begin marching into the tundra.

Bells ring in the distance...

"Afternoon mass bells. I went to 8:30, but if you want, we can go now." Glacier offers.

"I don't mind." Even though I have no idea of what's happening.

But she doesn't change direction.
