Opala's POV...
Everything is going the opposite of what we were expecting.
Which is indeed, a bad thing.
But with Ophidialyn and DGK on our side, I'm not sure what they can do for us.At least she gave us this cavern to rest in.
But when Curry and Mercedes come to blow this place up...
The caves aren't going to be the only thing that'll fall.
"Ma'am. The other Mirror Worlders and the other Sir Arthur wishes to join us." One of the squad members say.
"Hm. Tell them that we'll need them to be a bit more patient-"
I'm interrupted by someone tackling me from the side.
"GET OFF!" I scowl at the attacker.
They immediately hop off, and stagger back.
"You're part of the Reflect Rejects, right?" He asks."...Yeah. Why?"
"I came to warn you. Bo is on his way. We tried stalling him for as long as we could, but he's closer than you think."
"Who are you?" I demand.
"The name's Ky, but I have to go. So yeah."He dashes away, swerving into the other tunnels to do Nova-knows-what.
"We have to get moving, Miss Opala. I'm certain that you know who we're dealing with, right?" One asks.
"Yep. But we need to make sure that the others know about this too."
"Got it." He says, nodding once."In the meantime, you've got me to play with."
I whip around to see Enit in his scaly form, hanging upside down from the ceiling.
"What do you want, scum?" I snarl.
"Oh, not much. Just want to get rid of a whole lot of people. Including you." Enit growls back, narrowing his devilish gaze."I don't get it. Augustine is such a good person. And you're a literal demon. Is there something I'm not aware of that's going on here or what?" I say, narrowing my eyes.
"Perhaps. Perhaps not. But I'm sure of one thing: I don't need anyone to achieve what I truly want. In fact, I think I don't even need Dark Matter."
"What do you mean? I don't want to be rude, but my life is already too enigmatic and I don't need anymore questions floating around my head. Ok?"
"...I really don't care."
"Ok. Then let's get down to business."
I draw the ordinary and typical steel sword that was assigned to me from its leather hilt, and stare the beast in front of me in his terrible eyes."Straight-to-the-point, are we now?"
Enit hisses, standing on his hind legs and unsheathing a set of razor sharp claws on both of his talons."Come at me, idiot."
He bares his teeth and growls like the animal he is, and attempts to pounce on me.Big mistake, buddy.
I slice his underbelly as he glides overhead and crash-lands, screeching in a shrill fashion.
"How long has it been since you actually fought a fight? Because you're already losing to someone who woke up in the middle of nowhere and forgot everything they've ever done, Enit. And to think that I was the one who gave you that name."
He hisses, his ice blue eyes widening in hatred as I taunt him.
"I'll kill you."
"Ok. But touch anyone else and I think we both know what's going to happen, you low-life."
