Chapter Eight

~Rapunzel~

Anna led me to the room where I'll be staying.

Good thing Flynn's not sharing with me...I would freak out!

Anna went out of my room after a little chit chat.

I'm starting to really like her.

She's friendly and Lively...

Like I was long ago.

I've changed.

I layed on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

It has snowflake patterns which I found quite pretty.

Then, I felt my eyes go heavy.

I better sleep for a while...I'll just wake up when it's dinner time.

*Time Skips*

I opened my eyes and saw a faint light coming from my window.

It's already dark.

I checked the clock, 08:30 pm

Whoa..I really slept long...

I walked to my window and saw the bright,big,beautiful moon.

I remembered him.

~Flash Back~

"Punzie Look!" Jack said pointing upwards.

I looked up and saw the bright round moon.

"That's Manny." he said still staring at the moon.

"Manny?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah...Man in the Moon...he's the one who chooses the guardians...like me...he chose me...to protect the children.He makes sure that everything's in order."He explained.

"Oh." that was all I could say.

"You can also talk to him...he can hear you."he added.

I smiled "Okay."I said.

~End of Flash Back~

That happened after the lanterns were released on my 15th birthday.

When he left me, I started talking to the moon...asking him where Jack is and why he left but always...there's no answer...I looked like and idiot and also sounded like one.

I went out of my room and went downstairs trying to find the dining room.

I'm Hungry.

The halls were now silent.

Maybe they're all asleep.

I walked around trying to find the place but then I saw him.

Jack was standing by the balcony staring up the night sky.

"Go on..ask him to help you." A part of me said

"No don't! You hate him remember?!" Another part of me said.

"Then go on starve yourself to death." the other part of me said.

I sighed.

I better ask him.
