Chapter Nine

I was staring up the night sky admiring the silence and the cool breeze.

I looked at the moon.

I smiled remembering the time that I told Punzie all about Manny.

"Uhmm...Jack?"

I quickly turned around once I heard her voice.

She looked at me shyly.

"Oh..Rapunzel..why are you still up?" I asked.

She tensed up when her stomach grumbled loudly.

I bit my lower lip trying to hold back a laugh I ended up making a snort.

She laughed after that.

It sounds good when she laughs.

She cleared her throat and stood up straight.

"Uhm...Could you direct me to the dining room? Cause, I'm kinda hungry." She said shyly.

I smiled "I've noticed."I teased.

She smiled slightly.

"I could take you there, Follow me." I said holding her wrist.

I felt her struggle at first but then she just followed.

After a few turns, We arrived at the dining room.

"Good evening Princess." One of the servants said.

Rapunzel smiled and nodded.

"Tanya,could you please serve the princess her dinner? She's kinda hungry."I asked Tanya, one of the servants.

She nodded "Okay...Just take a seat Princess and we'll serve it right away." she said to Rapunzel.

Rapunzel smiled and sat on one of the chairs.

"You haven't had your dinner huh?" I asked once I was seated beside her.

She nodded "I overslept...Guess I was really tired." she answered.

I just nodded.

"Here you are Princess...Hope you enjoy it."Tanya said placing her meal on the table.

"Thank you!" Rapunzel said gleefully.

Tanya smiled and nodded before walking away.

Rapunzel ate her dinner in silence.

I just watched her.

When she was finished, She burped quite loudly.

"Whoops! Sorry." She said shyly covering her mouth.

I chuckled "It's fine."

She smiled "That was one great meal."

I nodded.

"So uh...Rapunzel?" I asked nervously.

"Mmm?"

"Do you know who I am?" I blurted out...I wanted to know if she really doesn't remember me.

She stared at me and raised an eyebrow "You're Elsa's dear friend?" she said more like a question.

I sighed..guess she really doesn't remember me.

I just nodded.

I feel broken...

She's marrying someone else and she doesn't even remember me.

I guess this was the consequences for leaving her without a word.

This was all my fault.
