Chapter Forty Four

~Rapunzel~

Gothel and Pitch went away for a while...

I was brushing anna's hair with my finger as I hum a tune of a song...

The song on my 19th birthday...

I still remember the words...It hit me straight!

And it somehow helped me wake up from my stupidity.

After a few moments, I felt Anna move and her eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Ugh...where am I?" she mumbled...

I helped her sit beside me...

"You're in...uh..." Flynn trailed off...guess he doesn't know either.

"Flynn?! Why are you here?! In...chains?! They captured you too?!" Anna asked with wide eyes.

"Well...sort of." he replied.

I'm glad he's back to his normal self...well I don't really know his real self but to me...he is...'cause he's looking and acting way better than before.

"We're in my old tower...my home before." I explained.

Anna turned to me "Oh...so this is where Jack found you." she said.

"How'd you know?" I asked with a frown.

"He told me...You know...When he was still helping Elsa control her powers...we would talk everytime we don't have anything much to do...and he always talks about you." she said.

Oh............................

"And...he would also mumble your name when he's asleep." she said.

I just kept quiet....

"What would he mumble?" I asked quite curious...

"Uhm..like I'm sorry Punz,I miss you Punz and one night I heard him say...I love you Punzie."

That made my heart skip a beat...He really said that?!

"Did you know our past longer than Elsa?" I asked.

She nodded "Yeah...I knew it all along...you might not notice it but...when you came to Arendelle...Jack was looking happier than before...I knew right then that you were the one he kepts on telling me." she answered smiling slightly.

"The girl he love so much." she added.

"What do you mean?...he's always sad?" I asked...Poor Jack

"Well...he acts all cool and lively but deep inside...I know he's hurting." she said.

That made me guiltier than ever! I'm blinded by my anger...

Anna placed her hand on my shoulder "But you know...My sister likes him too." she said.

That made my eyes widen...Elsa? Likes Jack?

"But...I think You and Jack would make a great couple...." she said.

"What made you say that?...We don't even have the same abilities...I'm his opposite." I said.

She nodded and smiled "Which made it magical...most of the opposites never work out well...but you two did...you two accepted each other's differences." she said.

"You're like the sun and he's the moon...you're spring and he's winter...and your mortal and he isn't...You're a princess and he's a spirit...I find it romantic." she added.

I smiled at what she said...

"But what about Elsa?" I asked.

she sighed..."She'll find the one for her soon...someone who's gonna love her truly." she said.

I never expected this side of Anna...who knew she's expert on this..

"Are you some sort of a love expert?" I asked teasingly.

She giggled "No..But some love expert taught me." she said with a smile.

I just smiled back...I looked over at Flynn who was leaning against the wall...fast asleep.

"Heavy sleeper isn't he?" Anna teased.

"Nah...he's just exhausted." I said.

Anna just shrugged and leaned against the wall too.

I sighed as I stared out the window...I wonder what's happening to jack and elsa right now...I hope they're fine..

*Booommm!!!!*

"WHAT THE!...WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HER FAST!" I yelled...There was flashes of light outside..

Gold,Black,White and Icy blue..

There's a war outside...

"WHAT?! WHY?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Anna asked all frightened and scared.

Flynn was staring out the window too with wide eyes.

Suddenly, the floor grumbled and the black light was surrounding the tower...

I quickly took the knife on the table and tried picking the lock...

"Come on..Come on" I muttered as I focused on the key hole...

*BANG!!!*

"AAHHH! HURRY!" Anna shrieked.

"I'm trying!" I yelled back.

*Click*

My chains fell to the ground and worked on Anna's chains next..

Since I can move well I managed to set her free quicker...

I picked up the pace as I tried to free Flynn.

"Ack!" I hissed...I accidentally sliced a small part of my palm.

"Rapunzel! You okay?" Flynn asked in a woried tone...

"I'm Fine...Let's go!" I said.

Anna,Flynn and I went out the underground pass but the shaking continued.

"Hurry Up!" I yelled...The shaking got stronger.

Anna was able to go out first followed by Flynn...I was about to go out when a huge wood fell right in front of me almost taking my life away.

I gasped at the sound...

"Rapunzel!" I heard Anna call from the other side.

I heard a grumbling from the ceiling and then...

*BOOM*

All turned dark....
