Chapter Twenty Three

~Elsa~

"I'm ready to go!" Anna said cheerfully as she barged in my room.

I gasped a little when she said that...

"Anna,you startled me!" I said.

Anna just smiled sheepishly.

"Whoops! Sorry about that...I'll go get jack..he's probably still snoring." she said before going out.

I placed my things into my bags and asked Robert for assistance.

I saw Rapunzel sitting on the garden staring out into space.

"Rapunzel?" I said touching her shoulder which made her gasp in surprise.

"Oh! Elsa...hi." she said standing up.

"You okay?" I asked looking worriedly at her.

She nodded "Yeah...I was just thinking." she answered.

"Oh...about what exactly?" I asked.

She looked away as she played with her fingers.

She's nervous...Obviously.

I sat on the bench tapping the space beside me telling her to sit down.

She sat beside me still looking away.

"You can tell me."I said.

It was like the time Jack and I talked back at the fountain.

She sat up straight and took a very deep breath.

"Jack was my friend back when I was in my tower." she said at last.

Finally, she admitted.

"Okay...then?" I asked pushing her to tell me more.

"I lied to him." she answered bowing down shutting her eyes tight.

"Lied to him about what?" I asked.

"I told him that I had an accident which made me have an amnesia....and he believed me...I just said that because I was...never mind." she said.

I sighed.

"Well whatever made you lie you should just forget about it...Tell him the truth." I said.

She looked at me.

"It's not that easy." she said.

I nodded "I know...but you have to...Actions may not always bring happiness but there is no happinesswithout action.' I said patting her shoulder to encourage her more.

She smiled and suddenly,

she embraced me.

"Thank you Elsa! Thank you for understanding." she whispered.

I relaxed and hugged her back.

"You're always welcome." I said
