I remember how we grew apart

I remember the numb nights

And the tear stained pillows

I remember the midnight conversations

Going out of my mind trying to get you back

I remember the words that you said torturing me

And going over everything I did, hating myself for all of it

I remember when you gave in

When I had begged enough for you to say yes

I remember our first date

And how I spent the entire movie trying to build up the courage to hold your hand

I remember awkward conversations

And cuddling during movies

I remember the awful sushi date

And the wonderful goodbye when I went away

I remember the gangs

And the pizza date

I remember the joy walking across the city with you

And falling asleep in the movies

I remember being so angry

And crying so much when I thought you were going to leave me again

There has never been a moment of this relationship I have not cherished

And there will never be a moment, during and after, that I will not love you.
