Looks Can Be Decieving

After class we all met up in Coach's office to figure out what to do. "Derek's outside waiting for Lydia." I state.

"Waiting to kill her?" My twin asks in dismay.

"If he thinks she's the Kanima, then yes especially after what happened at the pool." Scott replies.

"It's not her." Stiles states but sounds more like a plea.

"Stiles she didn't pass the test, man. Nothing happened." Scott deadpans.

"It's not her. I know it's not, I just know it." I chime in while running a hand through my hair.

"No it can't be her." Stiles insists.

"It doesn't matter because Derek thinks it's her. So either we can convince him he's wrong, or we've got to figure out a way to protect her." Allison adds her frustration growing.

"He won't do anything at school." I defend.

"What about after school?" Allison argues. We all let out a sigh we just need to convince him he's wrong but he won't believe us without proof. He wouldn't even believe me. "What if we can prove that Derek's wrong?" Allison asks.

"By 3:00." Stiles snaps sounding more and more frustrated.

"There could be something in the bestiary." I cut in.

"Oh, you mean the 900-page book written in archaic Latin none of us can read? Good luck with that." Stiles says exasperated.

"Actually I think we may know someone who can translate it." Allison cuts in.

"Scott and I can talk to Derek." I suggest. Allison gives me a confused look which is written with suspicion.

"Why would he listen to you?" She demands.

"He trusts me a lot more than any other Argent let's just say that and leave it at that." I reply. Hating lying to my twin but she can't know.

"Besides if we talk to him maybe we can convince him to give us time to prove that it's not her." Scott cuts in taking the heat off of me. He looks at all of us. "But if any thing happens, you guys let me handle it, okay?"

"What does that mean?" Allison asks.

"It means you can't heal like I do. I just don't want you getting hurt." Scott replies.

Allison and I share a look and dig through our bags we simultaneously pull out our mini crossbows. "We can protect our selves." We say in unison, I have a slight smirk on my face.

Scott puts his head down and so does Stiles both looking upset.

"What? Did something else happen?" Allison asks.

"I just don't want you getting hurt. Seriously if something goes wrong, one of you call me okay? I don't care if your dad finds out. Call, scream, text, yell, whatever. I'll hear you and I'll find you as fast as I can. We have until 3:00." Scott says to my sister.

They are so sweet but Scott needs to learn Allison is not as defenseless as she looks. Looks can be deceiving especially if you're an Argent. Scott and I are about to walk out the door when a arrow goes shooting at Scott's head. I glare at Stiles who has Allison's crossbow and fired it. Thankfully Scott caught it.

"Stiles they don't make a safety strong enough for you on any weapon so you should probably not touch them." I say while grabbing Allison's bow out of his hands and handing it back to her in an annoyed fashion.

"Sorry. Sorry. It's a sensitive trigger on that." Stiles mutters.

"Be careful." I say before Scott and I go out the door to talk to Derek.
