"Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me." Gerard says. 

An arrow goes shooting into Isaac and he falls down. "Isaac!" I yell. He groans in response. I groan that arrow hurt me to.

I look over in the shadows and see a girl with a bow. "Allison?" Scott asks. I run over to Isaac and help him to his feet. 

"Come on, up." I groan out. I yank the arrow out. He howls in pain.

 I grab Isaac and drag him into the building while Dad starts shooting half transformed Jackson. Derek comes out of nowhere and growls shifted. Isaac and Scott do the same.

I aim my crossbow at Jackson but Derek and Scott keep getting in my shot.

While they are down I take that as my opportunity and I shoot four arrows. The Kanima screeches at me and pulls out the arrows. It starts to step closer to me. It slashes at me I jump back. I use my bow and I swing it at Jackson. It catches it, and it grabs me by my shirt and throws me to the ground.

 Isaac, Scott and Derek get up and attacks again. Derek is the first up and attacks first. But Allison comes out and stands in front of Isaac and stabs him in the front then in his back. 

I climb up to my feet. "Allison stop!" I yell.

I race towards her. She sets her sights on Derek who is on the ground holding his stomach wound.

Panic fuels my veins and I jump in front of her. Standing right in front of Derek. Her knife still held in her hand. I grab her wrists trying to push her backwards. "Stop!" I growl.

"Get out of my way." She snaps back.

I feel all the anger and frustration I have been feeling bottle up in me. My eyes start burning just like they did at the party and my veins turn black. I step one foot forward and shove Allison with so much force she falls and skids backwards. She gets up but looks at me horrified.

"Your eyes are glowing." She pants out. I look over at Derek breathing heavily. His eyes get wide in shock. Either from saving him or the fact that my eyes turned into green glowsticks. My vision has a light green tint to it. I feel everyone's eyes on me but there is one set I feel burning in my head. Peter. I look over and he is smirking at me. He knows what just happened. I close my eyes and then they are back to normal.

Allison rushes toward Derek again but the Kanima grabs her by her throat and it grabs me by the throat with its tail. I try to fight but it grips tightens around my neck. I start choking.

"Not yet Allison." Gerard says to Allison. 

"What are you doing?" Allison questions confused. 

"He's doing what he came here to do." Scott answers.

"Then you know." Gerard says. 

"What is he talking about?" Allison asks.

"It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it when I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?" 

"He's dying." Isaac supplies.

"I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does." Gerard comments.

Allison and I let out a gasp of disgust. "You monster." Dad spat. 

"Not yet." Gerard corrects. 

"What are you doing?" Allison asks panicked.

The Kanima tightens its grip on me and Allison. I almost start gagging. "You'll kill them too." Dad spat.
