Hi.

I SUCK AND IM SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOU ALL WAIT SO MANY MONTHS OH MY GOD. I'm forcing myself to update this chapter RIGHT NOW because I started the beginning a while ago. But I promise this will go up TODAY so if you're reading this on the 26 of July you know I kept my promise. I know I'm way beyond asking for you to accept my apology but I'm going to try really super hard to update this every Saturday for you guys. :) This chapter will be pretty boring but I'll try to spice it up a little. Enjoy :)

"Ready?" Harry asks me as we spot four Ministry workers walking towards the entrance. "Of course," I reply nervously. "Now!" Ron motions for us to go. We each grab one and pull them inside, making sure we aren't seen. "This is mad," I whisper to myself, plucking a hair from a blonde woman, looking about 40 years of age. Harry, Ron, and Draco do the same to their poor victims. "Here," I say, pulling a flask of polyjuice and 4 paper cups out of my purse. "Bottoms Up," Draco says as I pour the chunky liquid into each of the cups. We each take a long gulp of the vile potion and run to the bathroom, our skin bubbling and getting more and more aged as we walk. My last thought as Hermione is of my mother.

•••••••••••••••••••

At the Ministry of Magic things are changing. Pius Thicknesse, under the Imperius Curse, has taken the position of Minister for Magic and decreed that all witches and wizards must be screened to determine their Blood status, thanks to Voldemort. Harry has also become a most wanted, labelled "Undesirable No. 1." Perfect for our little visit. As we enter the elevator, all together, Harry and Ron are unfortunately forced to leave the elevator, which worries me. Thankfully I have Draco by my side until we reach our floor. "So, Harry will be in Umbrige's office, which leaves it to us to keep an eye on her. What do you suggest we do?" I ask, still uncomfortable having someone elses body. "Well we're going to need to find Umbridge firs-" Draco begins. But with our fast paced walking he's managed to collide with someone. Oh god. "Ollie! You're needed downstairs immediately we've been looking all over for you!" Umbridge screeches at Draco. "Since when do you two get along?" She asks curiously, looking at me and then back at Draco. Clearly she doesn't really care because she turns around and keeps walking, I'm sure expecting us to follow. I motion for Draco to follow me and he instinctively grabs my hand. I think a few people notice, which isn't good because I don't think we're supposed to get along very well. "Careful there, OLLIE," I say, reminding him of both of our appearances. He lets go but laughs a little and thankfully Umbridge doesn't notice. I hope Harry finishes up quick.

And the last thing I remember is apparating. Draco and Harry got seperated from Ron and I, and I remember landing face up on the ground. A safe place, The Forest of
Dean. First I hear a moan, then a scream. Not a full blown scream, one where you can hear the person clenching their teeth. I sit up, and see Ron on the ground, his arm half torn off. Oh my god. "Ron!" I scream, feeling around in the dead leaves for my purse, which I know holds my healing fluid. I'm going to need more soon, I'm running out. Oh god I hope I have enough. "Ron, I'm coming," I say, my voice wavering as I find my purse and stumble over to Ron. I hear Harry and Draco land but pay no attention. "Ron, it's going to be okay," I say, tears rushing down my face as I dot healing fluid on the open wound. "I'm so sorry, it's going to sting a little bit but it will help to heal it okay," I cry, holding on to Ron's good hand. By now we've all changed back to ourselves, thankfully too because we all looked too dreadully different and I forgot who each of them were occasionally. Ron's eyes glisten with tears as well, probably because of how painful this is. But thankfully his breathing is reaching a normal pace and his chest isn't moving so rapidly. Draco and Harry are running over by now, Draco taking my other hand and poor Harry sitting there awkwardly. "Come on, I'll pitch the tent. You lot get kindling and we'll make a fire," I say, collecting myself and standing up. I brush the leaves off of my front and quickly whip out my wand.

Me and Harry each carry Ron inside the tent and onto a cot, hopefully he'll get a scrub in the lake later for hygenic purposes. His arm has taken well to the healing fluid, but it's going to need a sling for a while. Draco, being a good guy, collected kindling by himself and built the fire. I leave Harry and Ron alone to go talk with him. "You are too much Draco Malfoy," I smile, wrapping my arms around his neck from the back and kissing his cheek. "What did I do this time?" He says with a half smile, throwing a small stick into the fire. I sit down beside him on a log. "You've been such a good sport. And I know the boys haven't really taken an immediate liking to you, but I'm sure they'll come around," I say, snuggling closer to him as the wind blows. "Hermione, they've hated me all these years. You really think that just a few days of kindness will change their minds?" He says, lacing his fingers with mine. I lean my head into his shoulder and sigh. "To be honest you we're kind of a prick," I whisper. "What?" Draco says, sitting up immediately. "Don't even pretend you weren't!" I laugh, standing up. "You are such a little minx," he laughs, chasing me around the fire. "Draco!" I laugh. He quickly picks me up and throws me over his shoulder in one swift movement. "Oh my god Draco put me down!" I scream with a laugh. "I think it's time for a dip," he almost whispers. "Draco, don't you dare," I say as a warning to him. The lake comes closer and closer. "It's the middle of winter!" I shriek. I don't think he even cares.

And then I'm submerged in icy lake water. I wrap my arms around Draco's neck as we surface. "I can't believe you actually did that!" I say, wrapping my legs around his waist to create body heat. His arms are above my hips, holding me close. I wouldn't be surprised if the water was below zero. I try to control my breathing as best I can because I would rather not have a stroke. He laughs as I comb his hair back with my fingers. "I can't believe this is natural," I say, my legs now wading in the lake. I can't believe it but I'm actually getting used to it. Ignoring my remark, Draco kisses me. "What was that for?" I ask, taken off gaurd. "I don't know how much longer I've got, and while I'm here, watching you laugh, and smile, and put your arms around me, I want to really have it. I want to be in this moment," he says, his cheeks getting slightly red. Although anyone who didn't know Draco wouldn't have noticed. "Draco, we've got a long life ahead of us, don't you worry," I say, pulling him closer until we're hugging. Draco's feet touch the ground so I thankfully don't have to worry about keeping afloat. "I love you, okay?" I whisper. "I love you too," he whispers back.

Did I do a good enough job to incorperate something interesting? Tell me in the comments! Leave me suggestions and feedback if you would like and feel free to share around with friends, however, no obligation. :) Again, I'm so sorry for making you all wait, but I'm updating every Saturday now. I may upload another chapter today, but usually it's one per week. Also, I have a few different stories that I'm writing at the moment, so feel free to check those out as well. As always, hope you enjoyed :)
