"We're moving on without him."
Harry announces this while we're all seated at the table inside our tent. Tensions have been high since this morning and, to say the least, I'm worried sick.
"Harry, he couldn't have just moved on. You don't get it, he's half Veela, his own body wouldn't let him," I clarify, rubbing my temples in frustration.
"We can't let this set us back, Hermione. The fate of the wizard world depends on us. I'm sorry, I know this is hard for you. He'll turn up-"
"He could turn up dead," I interupt sharply. "Look. I know what you think of him, okay? I felt the same way last term. But he's changed, and for the better."
"People never change, you told me that," Ron mumbles from his cot.
