"You nearly scared me to death, you know," I scold Draco. "I'm sorry. But I'm here now, aren't I? And wasn't it worth it?" He smiles, kissing my nose. I nod and smile at the ground. "It's weird, isn't it... Sleeping alone," I say, wondering if he felt the same way I did. "I know. I really missed you Granger," he says, smirking. "You too, Malfoy," I answer, playing along. His smile broadens at the sound of his nickname. We've been walking this whole time, and I wonder if it's safe to bring Draco indoors. "You should probably wait here, incase someone tries to kill you or something," I warn him. He nods, and I walk inside alone. "Hello?" I call. Ginny peeks around the corner. "Guys, it's alright. It's not bad," I yell, trying to get the sound throughout the entire house hold. A door leading to the cellar opens, and out pops a few heads. "Come on out," I say, putting my head in my hands thinking about how badly this is going to go. "Alright. Draco's outdoors. I'm going to go get him, and you all stay here for a moment," I say, my voice wavering. "What? No!" Mrs. Wealsey screams. "Yes, agreed. No wizard of dark magic is to enter this house!" Mr. Weasley glares at me. "He's good, though! You don't understand-" "I understand he's going to get us all killed!" Mrs. Weasley says. I see that I can't win them over, so I walk outside and shut the door behind me, with no intention of going back in any time soon. "So, it's not happening. We'll just stay outside I suppose," I say to Draco. "I can leave-" "No!" I innterupt. "You've only just arrived. When will you be leaving, may I ask?" I ask him, already flustered. "A couple of hours. I'm sorry it's not longer," he frowns, taking my hands. Without hesitation, I kiss his perfect lips. This evokes the best feeling in the world. For some odd reason, his lips taste of cold watermelon. It's actually quite nice. Nothing in the world matters anymore when I feel his lips on mine. Something about the kiss is urgent, too fast paced. His hands are pulling me closer by sitting on my hips. "Draco," I breathe, pulling slightly away. "Yes?" He asks, a tad out of breath. "Were you eating, watermelon?" I ask. He chuckles. "Yeah, why?" He asks. I connect our lips again. "Because your lips taste of it," I smile. Suddenly, the door opens behind us. It's Mrs, Weasley. "I want you off of my yard this instant Mr. Malfoy. I have no tolerance for you right now," she says sternly. He nods in understanding, and his hands tighten around me. "I should get going," he says, looking into my eyes. "I'll come with you," I whisper back. "It's not safe where I'm going. I don't want a repeat of last time," he whispers back sadly. I feel like a complete priss when tears well up in my eyes. "But you've only just arrived," I whimper. He wraps his arms around me, and it occurs to both of us that this could be the last time our bodies are this close. I'm afraid. "I love you," I breathe into his chest. His arms squeeze me one last time before he repeats my words then apparates, and all that's left is a cloud of black smoke.
