Thalia's POV
I woke up the next morning; with a huge smile across my face. I really don't remember having a very nice dream that made me smile this big.
"6:30 am". Man did I woke up early today.
I got out of bed and head straight to the bathroom. I looked at my face in the mirror only to find an ugly big-nest headed woman.(Okay maybe I exagged that alittle)
After brushing my teeth I went downstairs. It was quiet.
oh yeah.. Dad is at work now.
Everything was different when mom left us. I was very angry at her; even if I didn't really know or either have I seen her. All I know is that she left and abandoned me when I was a baby. Maybe she had a good reason on why she just left like that. I really didn't know cause dad only told me a little information about her.
I ran out and grabbed the keys to my Ford Fusion. While I was driving to school; which was a 20 mins drive; this guy popped out of nowhere and literally jumped right infront of my car. Good thing I had a very sharp eye which made me notice him before I couldnt make a brake and break his ribs.
"Oh my god, are you okay!? Did I hit you??" I automatically went out of my car after I drifted into a brake.
"I'm fine..." the guy, who was slowly facing towards me said. "Lia?"
I gasped once I saw his face. "Chad!? What on earth...?" I quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him up. I guess that didn't help him get up since he was too heavy for me to pull up, so he just pulled himself rather.
"Lia, I'll explain to you everything about on why I mysteriously jumped out of nowhere later, but now can you give me a ride to school?" Chad hissed while quickly tugging me inside my own car.
----
"Sooo...." I broke the silence inside the car. "Why did you jumped carelessly?"
"I ran away."
"Sorry?"
"I ran away from home. I couldn't handle the way my parents treat me anymore." I could see so much sadness in Chads face. "Oh.." was the only response I could give. I know its a stupid response but I couldn't just ask him further specially when this kind of problem is personal. Chad faced me and gave me a smile.
Damn that smile.
Did I ever told you how hot Chad is? I guess not. Chad has dirty blonde hair, he is so tall; random guess, maybe about 6'2. His eye color was emerald which was my favourite color. To sum it all up, he was like the human figure of perfection.
I didn't know how long I was staring at him cause the next thing I knew I was that he smirked. He has dimples! OMG.
"Are you done checking me out? If so, focus your eye on the road." I directly turned my head on the road. I felt my cheeks going hot and,.. ny god Lia, are you blushing!??? I guess he noticed that too because he chuckled softly and leaned his head on the window.
That was a hot chuckle..
Gosh Lia! Stop that! I really need to calm down. I never felt this way, my heart was beating fast and my palms began sweating. Maybe I was sick? Gosh I dont know.

We arrived at the schools parking lot and got out of my car. It was weird because once I stepped out, people began to whisper at one another and some girls shot deadly glares at me.
What the fudge did I do?
I ignored them and faced Chad. "Thanks for the ride." Chad shot a grin at me. He has pearly white teeth which made him even more perfect. "I-It was n-nothing.." I gave him a little smile while replying. I was about to tell him I had to go inside when 3 boys came near us and gave me smiles that made me feel uncomfortable.
"Chad my man!" the brown haired guy gave Chad a brotherly hug and so as the other 2 guys. "So, Who's this hot chick?" the blonde guy asked and was like checking me out. "Sorry but I'm a girl; not a temperature. So please, dont label me as 'hot' chick or whatever." I rolled my eyes and the blonde just gave me a smirk and his eyes widened abit.
"Whoa there. You're one hell of a girl, aren't you?" Mr. Blonde kept talking. "Excuse me!?" I yelled alittle, causing Chad and the other 2 guys to let out a laugh. "Sorry lady," the brown headed guy told me. "Brian's really like that. He's a jerk, yes." I couldn't help but laugh at Brian and I nodded my head. "Yeah, I can see that."
"Lia, this is Brian," Chad pointed to Mr. Blonde; he was as tall as Chad. Blue eyes and had a big mole on the side of his right eye. "this is Jaden," Chad continued to tell me the names if his friends. Jaden was the brown headed guy the one who told me Brian was a jerk. He had quite long hair, thick lashes and shorter than Chad and Brian. ",and lastly, this is Mike." Mike was the guy who never spoke, yet. I looked at him and he gave me a friendly smile. I guess he's sweet. He had black hair and small lips. He was also tall and he was tan. I guess he's asian because his eyes were abit squinty.
As soon as Chad made me friends with his friends, we talked and hanged out alittle. Me and Mike soon became quite comfortable to each other since he was the one who was sweet and super friendly. Brian on the other hand was the opposite. He kept on flirting with me like holding my hand even though I kept on brushing it away.
Everything today was fine. Well actually, great. Everything was great because I made new friends and I think maybe this was the reason on why I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face.
