Chapter 16: Not the Last

Thalia's POV

Christmas Break! ♥ Yes!

I ran outside and saw snow everywhere. It's already December 23rd and that means its almost Christmas!

Another party coming up!

I ran downstairs and I saw mom and dad all "lovey-dovey" in the living room.

"You might wanna use a vacant room so that you wont be embarassed when a visitor comes in unexpectedly." I said to them while taking a seat whilst grabbing a Seventeen Magazine.

"Thalia sweetie, could you wake up your brother now? Were going to have family time today." Mom smiled at me sweetly and so much for being super lazy this morning, I had to follow her orders. I could get used to all these "motherly orders", someday.

I ran back upstairs and head straight to Theo's room, which was just beside mine.

knock.knock.knock.

"Theo?" I opened the door slowly, peeking inside whether he's awake or not. And of course, he is still fast asleep.

I walked towards his bed where I saw him sleeping peacefully. I sat down at the sides edge and stared at him, trying to study his appearance. We have the same hair color. His lashes were long, dark and really curvy. It was beautiful to look at. And his face had no mark of zits on it, not like mine I had two zits mark on my forehead..... Whaaaaaat? I had to squeeze them. They were.... really squeezable.

Just then, he opened his eyes slowly waking up from his dreams. I kept on staring at him and I guess he was shocked that I was there since he flinched and his eyes were widely open already, looking back at me. I stood up real quick.

"Whoa, you scared me." He heaved a sigh and smiled at me. "Good morning."

Can I just say that we still weren't all that "brother-sister" close. We were still like at that stage where you both are still acquaintances.

"Good morning too.." I whispered at him and he laughed at me. He must've thought I'm crazy. Theo then grabbed my arm and pulled in his bed and wrapped both his arms around my shoulders.

"C'mon sis, just act natural when your with me. I'm your brother, aren't I?" He closed his eyes and rest his head on my shoulder. I find it cute on how he's comfortable with me already, even though it hadn't been a week since we first met.

"Just get up already, dream boy. Mom and dad said we'd be having family time or what so ever, today." I chuckled and he smiled at me, his smile reaching from ear to ear.

"Awwww, honey look at them." Mom suddenly opened the door and went inside together with dad.

"You two are going to be spending more sibling time together later. And as for now...." dad forcefully made Theo got up his bed. "..get up and change. We're going to Vancouver."

OMG did I just heared it correctly? Canada!? We're going to Canada!???? Oh my gooosh! But wait! What about Brian? I need to tell him though.

"Dad, Mom, are we staying over there for Christmas?" I asked them.

"Yes sweetie! Isn't it exciting!?" Mom totally crashed my plans. I was planning on spending the day on Christmas with Brian, and the night with my fam bam. But, knowing that were going to Canada, completely ruined it.

"When are we going?" I was rushing now okay? I wanted to meet up with Brian first before we leave.

"This afternoon. 3pm is the time for our flight." Dads mouth formed a grin. I looked at Theo and he just shrugged. I ran outside as quickly as possible.
